We are driving down to North Devon early tomorrow morning and will be looking to stop for breakfast en-route. From past experience M5 service stations dont exactly offer the best breakfast offerings!
Can anyone suggest anywhere to stop for breakfast somewhere along the M5 between Gloucester and Bristol?

) there is a McD's. At exit 13 (Stroud/Dursley) there's a Little Chef, a pub (Fromebridge Mill) and a hotel (Whitminster Hotel), but I'm not sure that they serve breakfast - the Whitminster might. At exit 14 (Wotton-under-Edge and Thornbury) there's another hotel - The Gables. Exits 15 & 16 are the Almondsbury interchange (where the M4 and M5 meet). Exit 17 is Cribbs Causeway. There's a McD's drive-through, plus an entertainment venue with a TGIs, Frankie & Benny's, Chiquito's, Bella Italia, Burger King and KFC as well as two new places whose names escape me. In the mall itself there are several cafes including ones inside John Lewis and M&S, plus a foodcourt - Pizza Hut, Spud-u-Like, Starbucks, Nandos (amongst others).
Still, at least you'll avoid the jams. Shouldn't you be getting to bed?
