We are leaving this Friday (we being myself, 22, and my mom, 51...) and neither of us have EVER been to a Disney breakfast. Yes, we've had the counter service breakfast but never the Character breakfast. Which is the best for us? I sort of may have it narrowed down to Crystal Palace, Restaurantorsaurus or Chef Mickeys...am I at all on the right track? Would any of these 3 be the perfect first Character breakfast?

Crystal Palace is a lot of fun--mostly because of the ambiance. The building is gorgeous, and you can see what's going on all around the restaurant. Chef Mickey's has better food and, of course, Mickey, but the ambiance isn't nearly as good--especially if you're stuck behind a wall (which many tables are).

I've not been to Breakfastosaurus, but I've heard quite a few negative comments, so I'd stick with Crystal Palace or Chef Mickey's. Personally, I'd go with Crystal Palace. :)

Have done all 3. My recommendation for you and your mom would be Crystal Palace.

We have also done all three and agree that Crystal Palace would be the nicest all around for 2 adults. If you can (and if it suits your style!) book an 8 am seating (assuming it is not an EMH morning) for the sheer and total delight of walking down Main Street all by yourselves, and enjoying the slice of quiet in front of the castle with no one else around.
