Breakfast...help needed

Hi all,
Flying from manchester 10.15 am july 27th and staying overnight at the altringham hotel. Dilema is.. should we have breakfast at the hotel in the morning at a whoping £46 for 2 adults 2 children or is there somewhere else cheaper you can recommend for breckie. Never been from manchester before so really don't have a clue!
Any help...please!!!!

Hiya

We normally eat at the airport. At Gatwick we have McDonalds or Garfuinkels both are cheap.

Have a look at this site its manchester airport and it gives you the places you can eat. Garfunkels are reasonable and I would recommend here.

I'd also eat at the airport ~ much cheaper than at the hotel!

We stayed at a hotel near Manchester airport when we went in March, their breakfast was about £45 for the four of us. We had breakfast at the airport after we'd checked in. We had the usual cereal, fresh fruit, toast etc and l think it cost about £12.

Another vote for the airport breakfast - our last flight was so early we couldn't stomach anything at the hotel anyway!!!

I have to say that I'm gooing to try the opposite this time around, I had breakfast at the Airport last year and it was disgusting! It was £20 odd quid for two full English breakfasts and the bacon and sausages looked like they'd only been briefly introduced to any sort of heat! When we complained we were told that the Chef could cook us some fresh grub but bearing in mind we'd waited 40 minutes to be served the first plate of slop we declined, (how hard is it to grill bacon)?

Hopefully we will get better at the Radisson this year...
