On the "what kind of exchange would you like to see" thread I suggested a breakfast exchange. It seemed that a lot of you thought it was a good idea. So I wanted to see if people would like to do it.

I'm involved in 2 exchanges now, which will bring us to the beginning of September. I'm going out of town in the middle of September, and I won't be near a computer. So if we did it, it would be early October. Would that be OK?

Sounds good...I will have to see how things are going at that time.
But, even if it is only a few people you could still have the exchange ;).

Early october will work for DH and myself. I just started school and we have been involved in a few exchanges lately so this will give us time to relax before the next one. (Unless we just can't resist one coming up...:rolleyes1 )

I like the idea of a breakfast exchange! I just love making pancakes or waffles! i have so many good ideas! :yay: Thanks Missy for wanting to host this exchange! :thumbsup2

This one actually sounds like a lot of fun, but my participation will depend on exactly when you hold sign ups and send offs in October. I will be in WDW from 10-10 thru 10-18, but if sign ups are open before the 10th and send offs are after the 18th, then I would be in lol! :flower3:

That could be arranged......

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

2 slices sourdough bread -- cut 1 to 1 1/2" thick

1 egg
1/4 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Drain on paper towels or wire rack.
Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar and serve.

can't wait to do the exchange!! October will be a good time to do it too. It is getting cooler and feels so good on a cooler Saturday morning! (When I make a REALLY GOOD breakfast...as compared to just cereal or eggs...)

I can make Mickey waffles at home. John bought me the waffler and it came with recipes, and one is the original Mickey waffle recipe. ::MickeyMo

I have a Mickey waffle maker that makes 1 big waffle. Whenever my nieces sleep over, I have to make them MM waffles because "it is tradition". I've even brought it to their house when I sleep over there!

I wanted to bump this back up--if we do this, I'm thinking of starting the sign-ups on Sept. 30th, figure the sign-ups would end Oct. 4th, names would go out the 4th or 5th, then the mail by date would be Oct. 13th? Or are those dates too spread out? :confused3
