Breakfast condiments at All Star Sports food court?

It's like saying they can fill up water bottles at the free refill station there too because "it's not behind the counter".
OMG were you just at ASMo this week. I saw a little girl doing that, she must have been about 8 yrs old. She was filling up a 24oz Danzani bottle with coke from the refill station. She must have wasted about 150 oz just to get those 24 oz. In the hallway (leading to the arcade) her mother was trying to be inconspicuous. What some parents will do to get something for free. Shameful!

Can you walk up and grab a handful? Or are they behind the counter and you have to buy a bagel, etc. to get butter? Basically, I'm trying to figure out if I will have to buy a tub of butter and a jar of jelly to keep on ice in the room.

Thanks!!!!!!

No. This is one of those "imagine if everyone did it what would happen" situations. Disney does not put out condiments for everyone in the resort to use.

I agree with the poster that offerred her butter and jelly to the op. REALLY...I'm sure the op will eat at some disney restaurants during their stay, and not use all their entitlements :rotfl2: , so if she needs some butter and jelly, and one poster even said she asked and was not charged, it sounds fine. :teeth:

After many hours of reading threads and especially this one, I cant help but ask, why does anyone even eat a meal in a motel room? Its not like there is a kitchen or anything. Isnt that why they have restaurants? I cant imagine making my kids sit in a room to eat just to get it over with while im at disney with character breakfasts and great themed restaurants. I just think if you cant afford it, dont go.

It is convenient for alot of people to have breakfast in their room in the morning. We drive and bring a cooler in the car.We buy milk and bring the cereal with us along with bowls and spoons. While people are in the shower and getting ready for the day the others are having breakfast. For us it has nothing to do with being able to afford to eat at the restaurants, just a matter of convenience. We do a least one character breakfast and when everyone is sick of cereal and pop tarts for breakfast we go down to the food court to eat.To each is own.

I've decided to stay clear of the food court altogether so that we can get our butts out the door and onto the bus faster. I guess I will just end up throwing out a half a tub of butter and cream cheese at the end of the week, although I still say that seems like such a waste.

I thought we were done with this? Can't we just drop it?

Our last visit there, at POP, and then POR we brought our own bread/bagels. I put butter and jelly on my tray (from the condiment area), as well as one peanut butter, and one cream cheese from the cooler. I asked at the register how much. I believe it was .50 for the peanut butter, and .75 for the cream cheese, or no charge if I bought their bread (for the pb) or their bagel (for the cream cheese). She said I could have the jelly and butter. Next time I went through with those items, she got a manager, and she rung up .05 for each. So now, I just go through and ask when I don't have my own (I usually have my own jelly, a seldom need the other stuff). If I needed just a butter, and I had bought something, I would help myself. I always use their electricity, because they have told me to help myself to the toasters and mocro's.

guess that settles it....disney evidently feels it would be stealing if they charge for it.... guess op should a grab a handful of what she wants and go through the register andpay for it...then there wouldn't be any question about her not wanting to be wasteful rather than stealing

Not wanting to eat out three meals a day and not being able to afford it are two very different things. If I ate out at the restaurants three times a day for 7 days straight, I would start to feel very uncomfortable after a while. And what's with the last comment, what's it to you? Live and let live.

:drinking1 Just watching the show. Wish I had some popcorn! This one is better than pool hopping!!!
