Hello my helpful friends,

My DH and I are taking an adults only trip to the world in early December, tried for CRT for breakfast on my daughter's insistance (she was there in February with another couple who got engaged at breakfast and it was so nice she wanted us to go as we never made it on other trips) couldn't get the APR and would like somewhere else to eat......

Preferably a buffet as we are doing NO buffets this trip and DH likes breakfast buffets but NOT dinner.....

Characters are not necessary but would not mind them either.

We are staying at The Beach Club, hope to briefly explore the MK before or after a late breakfast, after or before breakfast I hope to make a reservation for parasailing at The Contemporary, our next ADR is for 7PM at the Concourse Steakhouse. Our game plan for the day and evening is to explore the monorail resorts to see the decorations.

Have been to Disneyworld numerous other times but always with the kiddies and it all revolved around them, would love to hear your thoughts on my day.

Since you're looking for a breakfast buffet and you're staying at the Beach Club, the best breakfast buffet is already at your doorstep. Cape May Cafe's breakfast buffet is really good and has characters (Minnie, Goofy, Chip & Dale). Get a 7am seating and you won't have the crowds yet.

Then afterwards, you can just take a bus to MK or walk to Epcot.

Oh for buffet brekkie the best we have ever had anywhere in the world has to be Boma's at AKL it is fab :) Great selection of food and an omelete station :Pinkbounc Its a bit out of the way to fit in with your plans, but well worth it IMHO :cool1:

I have an APR at BOMA for breakfast on Wednesday, forgot it was a buffet of sorts........my daughter RAVED about BOMA and I would love to see the AKL.
Glad to hear you liked it too.......really looking forward to this meal.

I remember eating breakfast here with the children when they were quite young and perhaps that is why I do NOT remember (selective memory). I will certainly keep this in mind as it will be quite easy to get to.

I think Boma's is the best breakfast buffet in WDW...but not too convienent for you that day. Cape May is probably my next choice...it has characters but they are not overbearing....another option that is a little different and out of the way is Trails End over at Ft Wilderness....just a short boat ride from the MK...no characters but a good breakfast buffet and it is such a nice get away...we always like to wander over and see the horses after breakfast.

I will definately check this out, this is a leisurely trip we are taking and we are also hoping to visit the resorts to see Christmas decorations, this would be a wonderful way to see Fort Wilderness.

Seeing how you are going to the MK and will be checking out the resorts on the monorail....I would suggest the 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian. It gives you a chance to see the resort and the breakfast here was my favorite. We were just two adults and it is a character buffet breakfast with Mary Poppins, Tigger, Winnie the Pooh and the Mad Hatter but that is still lots of fun no matter how old you are. The breakfast was great, made to order omeletes, cold strawberry soup, lots of fresh fruit, lots of different pastries, and sausage, bacon and just about anything else you can think of. On one of our previous trips we did breakast at the Polynesian. This was also a character breakfast and I really liked it there also. Hope this helps.

I can't remember the name, but there was a place at Fort Wilderness that had a good buffet breakfast.

Since you are going to the MK, I would consider CP. They have a great breakfast buffet - made to order omlettes, juice, wonderful puffed french toast, pooh waffles, etc.

Thanks for the tip about Boma for breakfast. Is it a buffet everyday? My DW and I will also be visiting in early December. It's our favorite time to go. :goodvibes

Trails End buffet at FW...very good, and very inexpensive (by Disney standards, anyway!)
