Breakfast at Universal

Tried to book Confisco's Grill for breakfast on the Wednesday of our stay in a couple of weeks but they are only doning the character breakfast Thursday to Sunday. So we wondered what time Pastamore open for breakfast because the menu looks OK and reasonably priced.

Also can you 'grab and go' at the Islands dining room if we wanted cream cheese bagels, for example?

You can grab and go in the RPR bar area. They have a contintental breakfast there. Also, just as you go into both parks, there are counter restaurants (Boulangerie in USF and Croissant Moon in IOA) that have great breakfast croissants and pastries.
