We are going in Feb. and having a character breakfast with Minnie one morning. We are doing easy breakfasts outside the park the rest of the mornings except for 1. I wanted to eat at the River Belle Terrace or Carnation Cafe that morning. Which should we do, or is there a better place to eat in the park?

Thank you!!!!!!!

I'd pick Carnation Cafe just for a better overall breakfast selection. Unless you have your heart set on Mickey pancakes, then River Belle would be the best choice.

I agree, but I would also add the option of Cafe Orleans.

BTW, breakfast costs about the same at all three restaurants, but you have to add tip to Carnation and Cafe Orleans because thay are both table service.

I ate at river bell just because I was starving, I had the mickey pancakes, they were good but no big deal, they are a great thing for little kids though. When I go next Christmas I am going to try cafe orleans. :santa:

I like both places and love to eat at both when I visit the parks. The River Belle is good for the Mickey Mouse pancakes, and it is nice to sit outside and watch the people stroll by through Frontierland and watch the Mark Twain go around the river.
Carnation would be my choice though. I love the food and cafe atmosphere. My favorite is the crissaunt with eggs and ham (now I am craving this). The pancakes my fiance had looked really good. Well, everything everyone had in my group looked good. However, if you eat at the Carnation, be sure to make reservations. I have seen a 45-minute line at least for people without reservations.

Since you are going in February, I would make reservations for Carnation. If it rains, Carnation will be closed, so you will have River Belle as a back up plan!

Happy dining!!!

I would go for table service! River Belle Terrace was not special and you had to beat off birds to eat your food before they got it.
