Breakfast at GF 1900 Park Fare?

We haven't been there in years for breakfast and are thinking about going there on our upcoming trip. Who's eaten there?

Went last Dec. with a large group. The character interaction was great, but the food was mediocre. I prefer Tusker House or Boma for breakfast unless you really want those particular characters

We went for breakfast and dinner, the food was horrible at both meals and the noise level was too much for us to handle....we will not go back

We went back in July 2009...The characters were okay and the food was just okay...We did like the eggs to order but not the line that went with them...Nothing special for us...We do not plan on going back.

My family really enjoys it. They have lobster eggs benedict, bananas foster topping (for french toast), an omelet station, and strawberry soup. The Mad Hatter is very funny

I was just there the first week in December and we really enjoyed our breakfast there (dinner as well). Food was good and plentiful and the characters were great (especially the Mad Hatter). I'd go back.

I was just there on Wednesday the 16th and enjoyed the buffet and character interaction immensely! Like a previous poster mentioned, they have lobster eggs benedict, plus smoked salmon, made-to-order omelets, mickey waffles, bacon, etc - all very good in my opinion. Mary Poppins and Alice in Wonderland spent a few minutes at each table and had some nice compliments for everyone Pooh and Tigger were also quite friendly and everyone happily posed for pictures. We had ADRs for 8:35 which may have made a difference in the crowd.

It's amazing people have such different opinions of restaurants... but....
We loved this breakfast. The food was delicious... I also liked the lobster eggs benedict and strawberry soup. There was so much to choose from, I don't know how anyone could leave hungry. Made egg-free mickey mouse waffles for my son with egg allergy. Characters were awesome! Tigger, Pooh, Mary Poppins, Alice in Wonderland, Mad Hatter. Don't see Mary, Alice, and the Hatter in the parks.

I agree Tusker House had a very nice breakfast too -- different food.....and different characters.

Glad to hear the characters are so good. We have ressies for Jan 4 at 10:20. I'm worried that the food may not be as fresh at that point though. I'm excited though.\

We were there a couple of weeks ago and we loved it. Lots of choice, pretty good food and the characters are brilliant

We were there on 12/14 and LOVED it! The food was good (try one of their pecan carmel rolls), were seated as soon as we arrived and the character interaction was great!!! Our reservation was for 8:05 am and we were one of the first tables to be seated. I didn't find it to be loud in there at all. I believe Tusker House to be much louder. I do think that it all depends on which sections you are seated as to how loud the restaurant is. Hope you love it as much as we do!

1) Remember, food at character meals is only average.
2) You pay for the characters.
3) As for characters, normally the 1900 characters are pretty good.

I actually think the food at Crystal Palace's breakfast is above average, but maybe I just have bad taste.

I thought the food at 1900 PF's breakfast was yuck to average. I was so excited to try to the Lobster Eggs Benedict and I was SO disappointed. The sauce was way too orangey for me--what a bummer.

I did like the characters for the most part though--especially the Mad Hatter. He was a trip.
