So, I'm (yet again) mucking about with my plans and have found myself with a CS slot open for breakfast on our Epcot day.

Any suggestions, or should we just eat at POR's food court first??

Depending on the time of year... World Showcase doesnt normally open until 11. (The park opens at 9). So your choices of food might be limited then.

We love the food court at POR. We got something small for breakfast... then ate our way through WS.

I would just eat at POR's food court.

Are you on a meal plan? If so, which one? Do you know the meals for the rest of your day yet?

The reason why I ask, is that ideally I don't like to use either TS or CS credits on breakfast when on the dining plan. The meals just take away any sort of cash value of the meal plans. A nice option is to get yourself a pastry and drink from the POR food court and then use your cs credits around the WS. Maybe have each person pick a country or meal for everyone to share. It gives you a chance to sample a few different foods without feeling like your sitting down for a big meal.

If that idea doesn't float your boat, I would just go with a CS breakfast at POR.

I will also recommend eating PO, you can have beignets, which are alway good :thumbsup2

I personally like to eat breakfast at the hotel before heading to the park, unless I have a character breakfast booked. When I get to a park, I like to start riding/seeing things right away, don't want to have to stop to eat when I've just gotten there!

Sunshine Seasons does have a limited breakfast menu, but nothing too exciting. The only other option that comes to mind is a TS (the princess b-fast in Norway). You probably are better off eating at the resort.

We either eat at the resort or go to Sunshine Seasons.

Step one: be at Epcot for rope drop
Step two: hurry to Soarin
Step three: Grab a Soarin fast pass
Step four: ride Soarin
Step five: eat breakfast at Sunshine Seasons
Step six: ride Soarin again (kill time on Living with the Land if the FP time isn't up yet)

:)

This is what we do too.

Sunshine Seasons has the only CS breakfast at Epcot (and on the dining plan I believe it is your only option. There's at least one kiosk in Future World selling coffee, lattes and related beverages plus baked goods, but I do not believe these take the dining plan as they are not operated by Disney, and the company that operates them has chosen not to accept dining credits.)

Your best bet is either the food court at PO. Breakfast at the parks has become very limited with only the Magic Kingdom offering any real selection and even that is either CRT or Crystal Palace.

Well, I'm going to branch out and suggest that you can also do QS at a different hotel if there is something unique to the hotel that you've been wanting to try. For instance, you can get Tonga Toast for breakfast at the Poly as a CS instead of using a TS credit for it.

Agri, I think you're freaking brilliant! That's totally what we'll do... thanks for the idea :)

DIS'ers rock!!!!!!!!!

Glad you have your answer. I was going to just let you know that it is POFQ not Riverside that has the beignets in case you were looking to grab some of those. Have a magical trip!:cheer2:

We like to grab something quick- muffins/croissants at the resort and eat while waiting for the bus. If we get hungry before lunch there are tons of snacks to pick from at Epcot.

I wouldn't go with the idea that the beignets were always good. The ones we got were terrible. Nothing like what you find in New Orleans.

They have some great breakfast counter selections at the Land in Epcot. So get your fast passes or get in line and get the fast pass, eat your breakfast and then use your fast pass.

This is my exact plan for my upcoming Epcot day in Dec!! :goodvibes
