Breakfast at Cafe Mickey vs Annette's Diner?

I thought they were both American breakfast but I just read that Cafe Mickey is a buffet of pastries etc, the same kind of thing you'd get at a hotel?

We were going to do Inventions instead of Cafe Mickey for dinner because the food is so average at Cafe Mickey, so thought we'd do the breakfast instead - it is still character dining I assume?

Cafe Mickey is a buffet breakfast, but it includes hot items as well as continental hotel-alike items. You get bacon, veal sausage and scrambled eggs at breakfast there.

Yes, breakfast at Cafe Mickey is a character meal - just as well considering the price of it .

Yes Cafe Mickey is a character breakfast and as DLP Daft says they had sausage, bacon, scrambled egg and potatoes as hot options. Food was fine but what you're really paying for was the interaction. We booked it for our last trip and my DD enjoyed her time with all the characters.

One word of warning though, if you're planning on having breakfast at the DLH at any point in your stay don't do it before you do the one in Cafe Mickey as CM pales seriously in comparison to it! Good job you have the characters to make up for it!

Thank you both! For us Mickeys Cafe is all about the interaction, so it make sense to go for breakfast and pay less than to pay more for dinner and have the same experience, but an average meal!

It can be more expensive to have breakfast at cafe mickey compared to lunch or dinner there. i think the kids meals and the set menu overpriced so we order pizza to share for dinner at cafe mickey. it costs less per person compared to breakfast there.
