I've heard a lot of people mention some of the strong/different spices that Boma uses. Now my husband and I are adventurous diners, but my three boys are not. :lmao:

What are the breakfasts like? I'm hoping for some stand-bys for the kids, and a few more complicated dishes for the rest of us?

Thanks!

You'll pretty much get that at Boma. Breakfast is less "complicated" than dinner there, but you'll still find some interesting options with different tastes like coconut, sweet potato, etc. There are also some ethnic dishes like mealie pap.

For kids--they've got eggs, pancakes/waffles, sausage, fruit, oatmeal, etc...

We tried Boma last year for the first time for breakfast and loved it! Great selection and since me and my girls are picky I was leary at first. But overall great selection and quality of food.

Look in the dining reviews for reviews by MickeyNicki :thumbsup2. She has unbelieveable pictures and descriptions of the Boma breakfast :worship:

As mentioned, most of Boma breakfast is very "normal", french toast, eggs/omelets & to die for pastries. There are meats at the carving station and some more exotic items (pap, bobotie, etc) Very very yummy!

We love dinner there as well. There is a kids section of the buffet with chicken strips/nuggets, pasta (spaghetti & meatballs) mac & cheese to help make sure kids/picky eaters eat. Most of the spices aren't terribly strong, a lot of cinnamon is used. That throws a lot of people off to have a "sweet" spice on a "savory" dish. You'll also find a lot of Greek/Mediterranean spices used as well as coconut & curry.

Loved Boma breakfast! Me and our DDs are not adventurous with food and we all loved it. It was the best breakfast buffet we've had in Disney. I agree with previous poster...check out the food photos of it. Very good!
