We ate there last November (2006) ... so I don't know if that's recent, really.
It was one of our best dining experiences, though. The food was awesome. Lots of traditional breakfast dishes, plus some more exotic choices. The juice was great (a lot like what is served at the Poly). Everything we ate was delicious: fruit, omlettes, pastries, bacon/sausage, waffles/pancakes, potatoes, and breakfast pizza. They also had cereal for kids and a carving station in addition to the more African/porridge type items.
Make sure you leave some time to explore the resort if you're not staying there.
