Has anyone eaten this? As we are staying at POR, I thought it would be fun to eat at least one breakfast at Boatwrights? Is the breakfast good? Any recommendations??

We really enjoyed our breakfast at Boatwright's... I had the sweet potato panckaes (or whatever thier "special" pancakes are, can't remember exactly). We got smoothies for our drinks on the DDP, they were very yummy! We enjoyed it!

When we stayed at POR, we ended up having breakfast at Boatwright's 3 times. The stuffed french toast and sweet potato pancakes are both great. It only cost a little more to eat at Boatwright's than it does to eat in the food court and it is much nicer. We had ADR's for 2 of the meals and the other we just walked up and got right in. I'd plan on eating there at least once.

We have eaten at Boatwrights and it offers a good basic breakfast. Nothing exciting like Whispering Canyon and no characters like Chef Mickey etc. But just for a nice sit-down breakfast, it would be a good place to go if you're staying at POR.

My favorite is the Eggs Benedict plus we usually have a fruit plate that the entire group shares.

Breakfast at Boatwright's is excellent! I especially like the banana stuffed French toast.

You will definitely enjoy it. We, too, went multiple times during our stay because it ended up being better than expected. Good service, good food.

Breakfast at Boatwrights is great. Definitely a must if you are staying at POR.

I had a great breakfast there last Tuesday morning. The server's name was Jennifer C and she is a great server.....my second favorite in all of WDW. The food was very good. No nasty freeze dried Nescafe coffee either! The sausage was great, the same kind that they serve at Kona Cafe. The sweet potato pancakes were very tasty too. I don't like sweet potato much as a rule, but those pancakes were really excellent. I would go back to Boatright's for breakfast if ever I stay at POR or POFQ again....maybe even if we don't stay there.

Great reviews! Glad to know no one had a bad experience or didn't like the food. I may make another ADR or 2!

My husband's company makes that sausage. I have already asked him to sneak some out for me and bring it home. Unfortunately, he can't do that :) , but I was sure going to try!!! :rotfl:

While we are on the topic, I am also going to be staying at POR. I have scheduled breakfast at Crystal Palace just so we can be at MK before it opens. It is on our last full day. I was thinking that if we for some reason feel like we can't make it that early (we would have to leave at 7:15 for an 8:15 ADR) we would just have breakfast at Boatwrights our last morning. We are the DDP. Should I go ahead and make ADR or is it pretty easy just to walk in at Boatwrights? I would hate to waste a TS credit.

Nancy ... it depends. We were at POR in mid-October and ate at Boatwrights twice ... the first day we walked right in and were seated immediately ... that was a Monday. The next day we had to wait for about 20 minutes. We planned on eating there again in Wednesday and after 40 minutes we wandered into the food court and had some Mickey Waffles instead ... we were starving and ready to head for the parks!

The food however was great! Had the stuffed French Toast one day and the sweet potato pancakes the next ... yum!
