We've booked our trip for Feb. thru AAA and we get an included Breakfast at both 3BroomSticks & Leaky Cauldron. Just curious if anyone has eaten breakfast there? Is it worth it? We do have to make a reservation according to the paperwork they sent us. Normally we would just grab something at Starbucks in CabanaBay or something at Cinnabon before the parks open and don't eat again till dinner in CityWalk. Just wondering if it's worth the time?

It's definitely worth it for the overall experience. I do think that the food (both breakfast and lunch/dinner) is pretty great, and the beverages are amazing (try warm Butterbeer - it's simply heavenly!)... but if you are a HP fan AT ALL, you'll appreciate the ambiance and the attention to detail. Fun fact: The 3 Broomsticks is the one location that was seen in the parks BEFORE it was seen in a movie, and so the 3B in the movies was actually based off of the 3B in the park!!! :-D

Last time we were at UC we ate at LC for breakfast - it was pretty good .... and since you're there anyway might as well try it out. I think you'll find the food decent/pretty good and the atmosphere to be great.

When we were on that package, we scheduled our breakfasts for as late as possible, letting us enjoy the lower crowds of the morning and then having it as a sort of "brunch" around 10:30. We ended up switching our reservations and lost that package, so I don't know how it would have worked. This seemed the best option to me, since they don't do pre-opening breakfasts.

We ate at the leaky cauldron for breakfast. I didn't think the actual meal was anything special (but we just got the "boring" American breakfast). I thought it was kind of pricey for what we got. But the service was great and it was the leaky cauldron! :thumbsup2 We ate there around 10:30, just at the tail-end of breakfast. I think that worked out well. We rode gringott's and did most of the interactive wand spots before it got crowded. It is worth it just for the experience.

We got meals at both as part of the package - food was mediocre but totally worth it for the experience. I'd advocate taking advantage of the breakfast.

We ate breakfast at leaky cauldron in October and enjoyed it. Did the 1 hour early entry then breakfast as soon as leaky cauldron opened at 8am. Food is brought to you, staff were friendly making sure we had everything we needed.

I had English breakfast (beans are nothing like baked beans we have in England btw) DH American and DD kids pancakes

We popped into Three Broomsticks on a whim for breakfast back in October. Thought the food was good and the best part was that it was not very crowded, so we could take photos and take in the details of the place without dodging people and being in the way.

We had breakfast at the Leaky Cauldron (not as part of a package, but off the menu) in October. It was completely delightful and we enjoyed it as a part of our morning. We were glad to have done it. A word of caution: Lines are short for rides in the mornings, which is great, except that long lines can help let our stomachs settle a bit. I do not recommend hopping from Gringott's to breakfast to Dragon Challenge to Forbidden Journey when lines are short. It can be rough on the digestives.

Yep, we have never done as the package so did not have to have reservations of any kind, not sure how that works, as it is a counter service place. We just walked up when we went. I had the oatmeal flan and it was SO good. It is a bit pricey, but we really enjoyed it, and have been back a few times now.

Is there a menu for breakfast at either restaurant. Also, are you able to walk up for breakfast? we are staying onsite but not part of a package.

When the places very first opened they (or at least 3 Broomsticks) ONLY allowed people in if they had reservations. So it was CS but not quite. Since that crazy time, though, it's just open to all.

I've had breakfast at both and thought they were decent. Nothing super spectacular. I prefer Leaky, but mainly more so because I quite fancy the fizzy orange juice.
