Breakfast and ADR's?

Do you really need ADR's for Breakfast? I understand the need for dinner ADR's but was hoping I didn't have to be so "scheduled" for breakfast.
What was your experience? Did you just walk up? Wait long?

FYI - I talking about places like Kona Cafe, Whispering Canyon, Park Fare? the sit down places not counter svcs.
Also going last week in Feb intead of Easter time in the past

I always do to make sure I get in. To me it's books up just like dinner.

Yes you need to book them.Any breakfast that is a character meal( like 1900 park ) tends to book.You may have some success with walk ups but I would not count on it.If you know you want these places, what is the big deal with making adrs? you can always cancel if you change plans or your mind.

hmmmm. was hoping I didn't HAVE to be anywhere by a set time for example 0830am for an adr. I was hoping for a little reprieve. Getting my family up and OUT of the house is like a miracle some days. I just don't know what takes 'em so long. AND they're all boys, you'd think I'd take the longest

You can cancel them the night before or an hour before as long as you cancel them.Heck I have cancelled 30 mins before when I realized I simply wasn't going to make it ( I lost track of time).The other option is to call the night before to see if anything is available for the next morning at any places you are interested in.
