breakast in Universal area

we are staying at the Portifino for a few nights at the end of August. We are arriving at MCO at 8:30 and I had bfast at Boma booked as it is my girls and I favorite bfast spot. However my husband thinks it's silly to drive so far over there for bfast and then back to Portifino after an early morning flight. He would prefer to eat onsite somewhere at Universal. Looking at the menus of the Kitchen and Trattoria there doesn't seem to be a huge difference. Are the essentially equal in quality/value?
Is there another bfast spot recc more?

I always prefer islands dining room at rpr for Sunday buffet

Arrival @ 8:30 am @ MCO = time to grab luggage, car, perhaps a grocery stop for water/snacks. You likely won't be pulling into PBH until 10:30 am, later if your flight has a delay. Lots of offsite restaurants in Orlando that serve breakfast, why not just stop at one of them?

Hold old are your girls? Would they enjoy a character meal? LaBamba has a great one as to interaction

Onsite hotels also offer character breakfasts on select dates.

I'd just go straight to lunch, Mythos is great in IoA, otherwise many choices in Citiwalk
