Hope you feel better soon!!! Our son was born at 30 weeks so he has alot of flare ups and asthma attacks as he grows.They always prescribe prednisone, it works fast but our son always had a bad side effect, he gets really hyper, almost aggressively hyper. I hate giving it to him but its the only thing that works, in almost a day lol
Have you or your daughter ever had these side effects? I read on a forum it can be pretty common since it is a steroid.
Anywho, enjoying the PTR! Can't wait to hear more!

She hasn't had any bad effects from it, from what I can remember. The main problem she's ever had is getting "shaky" after taking breathing treatments. I also get really shaky & a faster heart rate after taking inhalers.

I always thought & hoped she would eventually grow out of her asthma, but she'll be 17 years old next week, and still gets the flare-ups sometimes, and still uses her inhaler every day. She also has a portable nebulizer that I always take on trips with us, so I'll be taking that, because I'm sure one of us may need it!

We had DD's early birthday get-together today. We had a great time, even though I still have a lingering cough, and it was a rainy day today.

Thought I'd share a few pics:

DD didn't want balloons this time, "cause that's kid-ish", but yet who always wants a balloon when we go to WDW??

Been trying to get some packing started, clothes washed, etc. So hopefully we'll get everything done a little early. Will be busy the next few days, but I'm sure I'll update again before we leave!

Trying to get more packing done, etc. Probably get my mom to drive us to the airport tomorrow. It's only about 40 minutes from us, but I don't want to pay the extra fees to leave my car there! Gotta take the dog to the doggie day care tomorrow and get everything ready to go!

We're actually going with AirTran...they had flights for $49 each way...couldn't really beat that, so we're flying out of Atlanta!

We made it back, safe & sound!

We had a great time with really no problems at all! The only negative thing I can really say, is that I didn't "love" all of the pics of myself. With being sick for 2 weeks before the trip, missing my workouts, and taking steroid medications, I felt a little "frumpy".

We changed our planned schedule around just a little bit here & there, and even with getting a bit of rain during the trip, we had so much fun! We took a little over 1000 pics, so once I get some uploaded, I'll get a TR started.

I'm so tired, but having to quickly get back to the real world , with getting back to school next week, working this weekend, back to babysitting tomorrow, and even having a yard sale tomorrow!

Can I just go back to WDW and skip all this reality stuff???

I always hate coming back to real life after vacation. It's so hard!

It is very hard to come back home, especially when you know you can't just change your schedule around & add a day or two, because of having to be on a transportation schedule (plane, train, etc.)

So glad you're home safe and that you had a good time. I saw your post on FB about not wanting to leave and I felt sad for you!

We both were sad, and DD really wanted to stay another day. If we weren't flying, I could have changed our plans a little bit. That is one positive thing about driving; not having to be on a time limit! But we enjoyed flying this time!



I've been trying to not think about the sadness of ending this trip, by looking forward to our next Disney fix: The Lion King on broadway in 8 days!!
