Hope you feel better soon!!! Our son was born at 30 weeks so he has alot of flare ups and asthma attacks as he grows. They always prescribe prednisone, it works fast but our son always had a bad side effect, he gets really hyper, almost aggressively hyper. I hate giving it to him but its the only thing that works, in almost a day lol
Have you or your daughter ever had these side effects? I read on a forum it can be pretty common since it is a steroid.
Anywho, enjoying the PTR! Can't wait to hear more!![]()
She hasn't had any bad effects from it, from what I can remember. The main problem she's ever had is getting "shaky" after taking breathing treatments. I also get really shaky & a faster heart rate after taking inhalers.
I always thought & hoped she would eventually grow out of her asthma, but she'll be 17 years old next week, and still gets the flare-ups sometimes, and still uses her inhaler every day. She also has a portable nebulizer that I always take on trips with us, so I'll be taking that, because I'm sure one of us may need it!
