Break Even for Annual Pass vs Tickets

Hoping I am posting in the correct place. Need some help with the math. I have three trips planned. First to WDW with a three day ticket (bought under the last old price). Second to WDW planning on buying a four day ticket (at the new increased price). Third trip is to DL with a three or four day ticket (at the new increased price).

Make sense to buy the tickets or to upgrade tix bought for the first trip to a Premier Pass? If it's even close, I would upgrade to get the AP perks.

3+4+4 or 11 days in the parks. Do you have additional days where you can go to the park but not going because you don't have tickets ? Are you paying for parking at the park ? When I had AP we used to go into the parks for like just for fireworks, parades. Because we could. Didn't have to burn a $80 regular ticket. Just saying there are,other factors that come into play. Just go into the park to eat ! Kill an hour or two.

The OP is looking at the Premier pass which includes the Disneyland parks. If it was just WDW, the AP would be the winner, no question.

Thanks. And you're right - factoring in Memory maker and parking would bring it much closer to break even. Thinking about the additional dining discounts, etc - I am leaning toward getting the AP.

Yup -park hoppers are a must for us.

Without double checking the math, I believe the break-even for an AP requires two 5-day tickets. You'll probably need to get another $75 value out of the AP benefits for it to make sense to upgrade.

There aren't any APs to single parks, except the Epcot After 4 pass for Florida residents.

I have had a premier pass for two years. I have found that as long as you use the discounts effectively you can save a lot more.
If you end up with the premier save your money and buy more merch and disneyland, the AP discount is higher there.
