Oh and you have to use sulfate free shampoo. I bought special shampoo and conditioner at the beauty supply store. $18 a bottleI think I'll check out Sally beauty online and find a generic for when these run out.
If you find one, let me know. I've been getting the Coppola Shampoo from ULTA and it's soooo expensive! One thing my stylist told me...you actually don't NEED the sulfate and sodium free conditioner, just the shampoo. Budget saver!
For those of you considering it, know that it only lasts about 4 months. I have really really thick and frizzy hair, and I did mine last May, and I'm starting to notice I need to get it done again. Also, my hair has a bit of wave to it, and if I don't dry it straight, I can still get that wave back if I want to...it's just not as unruly!
And as far as the not showering, don't freak out about it. I tucked mine behind my ears, showered without a cap (just re-blowdried and flat ironed when done) and it still came out great!
You will love it after the frist wash. that's when you can really see the difference!
