Everyone knows it but nobody wants to say it. Disney didn't remove the group that started hitting with the umbrella because Disney knows the race card would of been used and they didn't want to deal with that negative publicity, even though it would of had nothing to do with that.

I admit that was a thought I had when watching the video but without knowing for sure what has happened to guests in the past who have gotten into physical altercations I can't say that its really the reason.

This is an interesting observation in how differently people in the crowd reacted...I watched the video several times picking out one person to watch the entire time.
From those filming...to the the guy who's with the lady in navy dress who initially tries to hold her back and then disappears...to the guy at the railing who keeps it broken up.
Makes me think...'What would I do?'

Yeap. And the daughter didn't hesitate to start smacking the lady with closed fists on her head.

They are not new to violent confrontations, I'm quite certain of that. Their reactions and behaviours reveal their true nature.

The two younger kids are the only ones I feel sorry for in this entire situation. The look of bewilderment (and dismay/embarrassment in the younger daughter's face) is just...sad.

Why are people only focusing on one family? Both groups were wrong.

I have a feeling the mother wacked the other chick with her umbrella after the chick hit her or her daughter.

Prior to the fight, the teen is telling the woman to go on. She's talking smack to woman, but she's also stepping between her and the mother. It actually looks like she's trying to avoid a fight until the chick threw the first punch.

Since no one was arrested or tossed from the park, (I'm shocked they weren't tossed out)I assume the woman admitted her part in starting the fight. Really, who starts a fight then screams for the cops when they lose the fight????

You're joking right? You think the better move for him was to just stand by, eat some popcorn, and let her attack someone? He didn't body slam anyone. He was trying to restrain her and she wasn't having it. She body slammed herself against the railing.

I completely agree with you, and if I had been there I would have wanted the CM to do exactly what he did, but I read somewhere he's going to be fired because he touched her. That's stupid. The crap these CM's put up with is astronomical, and that fight could have escalated and gotten so much worse with all the kids around. People have lost their minds.

I really dislike people like that, especially when they're surrounded by children. The Test Track line is not a freaking club. Control yourself.

HOWEVER... It was HILARIOUS to me that the one chick was wearing a Goofy hat.

Watched it again. Nah, that guy isn't security. If he was he would have been a lot more involved. He probably is just someone who has had some leadership/management training and/or military/police experience.

He handled it like a boss. Props to him. Video should be used for training on how to handle incidents

I completely agree with you, and if I had been there I would have wanted the CM to do exactly what he did, but I read somewhere he's going to be fired because he touched her. That's stupid. The crap these CM's put up with is astronomical, and that fight could have escalated and gotten so much worse with all the kids around. People have lost their minds.

If he does get fired, I would strongly encourage him to consult with an attorney about possible grounds for wrongful termination.

Talking about the guy on the rail(the guest) who stood calming with his arm out ready to step in. His mannerisms were confident, strong, and the lady knew he would step in if necessary.

Not taking anything away from the CM. I think he handled it as well as he could given the circumstance. Poor guy. Hope he doesn't lose his job. I would hate to sit on the jury for any of the cases that come from this...Whether it's him touching the girl or wrongful termination for CM. Yikes.

i watched the video several times and it is really hard to see who threw the first hit. To me, it looks like the girl in the goofy hat has her hands in the white girl's face. I can't tell if she touch the white girl or not. Then I see an umbrella whacking away. Again, I can't see if the white girl threw the first punch or not. It looks like the umbrella was used as the first hit, but then again it is really hard to tell.

Don't mean to hijack the thread on a legal matter but what possible case could come from the CM touching the girl? For restraining her?

I thought the CM did an amazing job, especially at the end, when he spoke so calmly to the family. He really diffused the situation.
