Braves Spring Traianing

Does anyone have any experience with going to Spring Training? We have a trip planned in two weeks, and DH just mentioned he would like to attend a game. Do we need to get tix in advance, or is it possible to get ticket at game? TIA

We go every year when they play the Tigers. It's a beautiful facility. I guess ticket availability depends on the game. We usually go opening day of spring training and it's packed. I'm sure you could still get lawn seats day of.

Can't speak to Florida, but weekend games in Arizona are frequently sell outs, especially for hot teams. Mid-week games especially with split squads can be almost empty.

It depends on what you're looking for. We've had no problem with day-of tickets but we're happy in the cheap seats. If you want better seats you absolutely need to get them in advance.

Definitely depends on the team they're playing. We've been to spring training two different years. My DH is a huge Yankees fan. Braves vs Yankees you will definitely need to get your tickets ahead of time. We've purchased the mini plans on tix in past years. You get 3 games all within a week for one price. You get the same seats each game.

We love the spring training games. Cracker Jack Stadium is pretty nice but there is little shade so in the FL sun it gets really hot. Caps and sunscreen are a must. My DH would go every year if we could.

We got our tickets for Braves vs Cardinals from StubHub. Have used them about a dozen times and am always amazed at how easy it is. If tickets (or good seats) not available from Braves website, I recommend looking at StubHub.
