I received an email from Hoyts this morning for a preview screening of Brave on Sunday 17 June - Dendy also has a preview the following weekend.

I booked tickets with Hoyts - $33 for a family of three - looking forward to another red-headed princess princess:

Is anyone else seeing Brave this weekend?

I have been following the Twitter updates from @DisneyStudiosAU, and wishing they had spread the joy to some Australian Disboard members to attend....

I really enjoyed BRAVE!

It's the most unoriginal of Pixar's films and doesn't have the same novelty that Cars, Toy Story, or Monsters Inc. has but it's not really meant to. It plays out more like a classic Disney than it does a Pixar film. In saying that, the animation is spectacular and it has a great sense of humour.

I quite liked that the focus wasn't a romance. Slightly refreshing.

Yes, we have preview tickets to Brave this afternoon. The preview is being hosted by one of the local radio stations. The kids won a family pass. When they found out it was a Disney movie they were pretty excited.

DD is currently dressing up in her tartan kilt to get in the theme of it - not sure if Mickey Ears will be included or not....
