Hi we are gping to DLP in 2 weeks for DD 6th birthday, all she has asked for her birthday is a Brave dress. I was wondering if I should buy her the dress from Paris or ffrom UK disney store before we go.

Has anyone whoses been recently seen the Barve dress that avaiable at Disneyland paris,

I know buying from Disneyland will be more expensive but if they are nicer dresses then dont mind paying abit extra

or If anyone going would they mind take a photo :worship::worship:

ooh so glad i just read this post, I have been looking at the brave dresses in disney shop and to be honest at £40 I have hesitated on getting one as its a lot of money just for my daughter to put on now and again and I find they do tend to tear quite often. I had found one in argos but didnt like that one as much. The one just mentioned in marks and spencer looks gorgeous and at £15 a bargain!! plus its got the cape like the one in disneystore. I have just ordered one, should have it on friday. Thats one of her christmas presents sorted now! thanks!! :)

I was in Disney a few weeks ago now. I forget exactly what dress i was looking at (maybe snow white or belle) but the price in euros was 59.99 which i thought was way too steep.

Dd2 wants a brave costume not sure where to get it. Her rapunzel wedding dress cost €60 from the disneystore here in dublin and to my surprise she has hardly worn it!!! Still worth it for the look on her face the night i came home with tho:goodvibes

We were in there at the weekend as our daugther needed new shoes, and the shoes happened to be by a display of these dresses. I think we will be getting one as a Christmas present as well.

Rosebug is so lucky as her godfather lives in the States, and he gets most of her dresses at the US Disneystore. They are much better quality and so much cheaper because of the conversion rates. For Christmas I have her this Brave dress:

It is stunning!

Then for her birthday we have bought her this:

The material and embellishment on the American dresses is far superior and it makes me quite angry that they don't sell the same quality here. I also bought them on offer, so they came in at £27 each!

I think that M&S Brave dress is lovely for the price. Saying that my friends little girl has the Brave dress from DLP (it is exactly the same as the Disneystore UK) and it is lovely too!

I did look at the american disneystore didnt think they were that cheap, the exchange rate is pretty crap at min (in euro). Must look into it again tho as my uncle comrs home twice a year due home at xmas again.

The exchange rate from pounds to dollars has been really good. It cost me £60 for the 2 dresses, the wedding veil and postage to my uncles address! I bought them when they were on offer, and had a discount code, think it came to $90 in total for it all (incl taxes).

Just looked on XE and $90 is 68euro atm, which I think is pretty good compared to the Euro prices of the dresses!

Ya that is true, not sure will i just get the marks and spencer one for €20 instead, tho dd1 spotted the jesse boots for $15 when i was having a look earlier so might get an order sent to my uncles afterall. I bought dollars today (my aunt is flying out there tom) $100 cost.me €80.

You are very lucky to have some one in the US to be able to post too! If I had some one DD would constantly be in Disney Dresses lol!

Bought an M&S one this morning. They also had Snow White ones and another princess I didn't immediately recognise.

I sent this link to DD's Auntie who is now getting her the M&S Merida dress for her birthday this weekened - result!! :thumbsup2
