I've been looking into Branson for my immediate family (two girls 9 and 12) and have suggested to my parents that it might be a place they could easily get away to, too. (Probably not at the same time as us).
So, I am open to suggestions of things that would be good for a family with tween girls, and things that would be good for 70-somethings.
My girls like old-time stuff, so Silver Dollar City and the Laura Ingalls Wilder house at Mansfield are on our list. My dream is to get a log cabin rental.
My mom can handle most anything, but my dad will not want to do much walking. For shows, they would like religious, or clean-funny. They like nature, waterfalls, eagles. He likes history, but I don't know how much walking the Titanic is?
I am looking at Dogwood Canyon. Would the tram tour be good for Dad (not much walking?) Has anybody done the evening tram tour with the food and games? Was thinking about that for us.
