Brandi's Journal to Get Back to Me

Hey guys! So, I've been MIA for a while, huh? Well, I am back in town and back to work today, so it's been a bit crazy! I haven't had a bit all day and it's 1:30!! I know, I know. I am warming up a Lean Cuisine right now!! And I am drinking water to catch up! I was so bad this weekend I can't even start to tell what and how much I ate!! However, I am down 2 pounds this morning!! Maybe doing so well during the week helped. When I lost before, I was eating great during the week and not really counting on the weekends- that helped me I think keep my sanity! Well, I have to run, but will C/I later and catch up on everyone's journals!
 
Hello again guys! I just finished dinner, which wasn't near as healthy as lunch, but I'm still under my points. I had Popeye's Spicy Fried Chicken Breast with a little of mashed potatoes and 1/2 a biscuit. So, although it's fried and fatty, I'm still under my 24 points. I have to clean now. I'll try back later!
 
Glad to see that you are sounding chipper! You did great! :banana: I hate cleaning.
 
Thansk Tiger- I do, too, which is why I never do it!! Dh and and I decided to clean one room a night this weeks. So, tonight was kitchen night and Dh had the actual kitchen part done when I got home!! So, I just had to clean off the table and our desk. Dh also swept and mopped the floors! How great is that? I have a few clothes going and I did fold and put up a couple of loads while he was doing all of that, though. I've had 48 oz of water so far today and should get at least 12 more oz in by bedtime. I love water, so this isn't a problem for me. Oh, and I made ressies for Cm and CRT lunch for our Sept trip today. Overall, a good personal day. Work-wise, I just had to catch up from while I was out, so it was a bit busy, but good. Tomorrow, I'll be back to normal and trying to make some money!! Have a great night- I'm going to check out everyone else's journals now!!

Hey Brandi! Thanks for stopping by my journal recently. Our stories do sound very similar!

When in September are you going to WDW? I'll be there on September 27th for DN's first WDW trip. He's so excited. I can't wait to experience Mickey's House (as he calls it) through a child's eyes.

You are doing so well with your plan.......I'm very excited for you. I love the WISH crew because they all know what we're going through and are there for motivation and advice. Glad to see you've joined us!

Hey Amanda- Thanks! We are going Sept 3-9th- taking DS (3) and DNeice (10). We are also very excited to see it through his eyes.
So, didn't have any other snacks yesterday- so I ended up being at 22.5 points- 1.5 lower than my points goal of 24. That's great for me!
So far this morning, I haven't been great, but only 1.5 points have been spent- I had a spoonful of smucker's hot fudge and about 4 oz of a coke. But, I'm doing my water now, so that's good. For lunch, I will probably do another Lean Cuisine, which is what has always kept me on track as they are only 4 or 5 points. For dinner, I think I'll be having baked or maybe grilled pork chops, rice, corn and butter beans. I'll have to see how many points all of that will be, but I think I'll be ok still. I have to get to work now, so y'all have agreat day!

Hey ladies! Sorry I didn't get back yesterday or even this morning, but I have been swamped!! So yesterday, I did have my lean cusine for lunch and had a pork chop, 3 small red potatos and 1 small ear of corn. I came in at I think exactly my points! Today, I was bad in the morning- had tea and a blueberry scone from CCs Coffee house. Was pretty good, though. Had my lean cuisine for lunch. For dinner, I bought some crab pistolettes(sp)- they would have been 4 points each. They were nasty, so I only had 1/2 of one and then had a little less than a cup of white rice. So, under points again so far. I may have some grapes later, though. When I don't eat all of my points, I tend to not lose weight.
Well, I am glad I am doing well here. I weigh every day, although I don't count it until my official WI day, which is Monday. However, last night, I was back up one of those pounds I lost. This evening, I was down that plus another 2- so who knows! I forgot to change my bith control patch this weekend and just changed it yesterday- it keeps my cycle ok and I was spotting, so maybe that 1 pound was water or whatever.
Oh, I'm doing well on my water intake! Water has this effect on me that, when I am drinking enough, I crave it even more. So, I've had that WW water woosh lately as well! Last weight thing- I did excercise today- nothing formal, but Dh, Ds and I love music, so instead of TV, we turned on the radio and danced for about 20-30 minutes. Whew! With an almost 3-year-old, that's tough! :teeth:
I can't believe it's Wednesday already! My week has flown by- Jen's is leaving for WDW tomorrow- I know she's so excited!
I will go check out everyone else's journals and see how you all are doing!
 
Whew that dancing sounds like fun! It would have pooped me out too though!

I was reading your journal. I'm a morning person too. I struggle to get to the gym in the afternoons after work. It's really a test for me. While summer is here though and I don't have to deal with getting my dd up for school, I've been able to head to the gym in the mornings before work. I'd really like to keep that up too. Best of luck to you. I guess it just boils down to us making time to go to the gym!

Yep, Desiree, I totally agree. And I just haven't gotten back in the swing of it yet, and know I wont' today, either. We have no food at home, so I have to get some grocceries! Well, I do have some food, just no meat. Dh can't survive without some type of meat!!
So, last night I ended up with a few grapes, but nto many and still came in under points. Yay! Scale went back down to 176 this morning, so still down those 2 pounds at least. This morning I have had a tiny bit of coke so far. I have a meeting at 10 at a coffee hosue and I know I will be getting some tea. Then, I'll be off to a lunch meeting- I had salad last time, but would rather something else! We'll see. I will check in later ladies!

Well, I had sauteed (sp?) catfish over angel hair pasta. The portion was not large, though. And for dinner, I had tortellini. I'm putting in my points now and they total 26.5 out of my 24 alloted. But, I haven't used any of my flexpoints until today, so I am still ok. I'll check in the morning as I have lots of clothes to wash!!
 
You haven't used any flex points 'til yesterday?!? Whoa, girl, you're doing great! :Pinkbounc I've used 14 already this week and I still have the weekend to go! :blush:

Well, I mad eup for those flex points Friday! I didn't have breakfast, had Semolina's (Italian) for lunch- yum. We had spinach and artichole dip on garlic bread. Then I had Chicken Roban which is shell pasta with a spicy garlic sauce and grilled chicken. It was so good! For dinner, we went to eat with friends and I ordered Ds Fried Chicken tenders for his dinner. We were waiting to order ours and I was planning on getting a grilled chicken salad. Well, DS' dinner was so huge, I shared his as to not waste money!! So, fried chicken tenders and two margarita's for me! It was a 44 point day- ouch!! I had leftover spaghetti for lunch and over-estimated, so I'll be ok for today I know. I have 12 FP left for today and Sunday, but hopefully I will be good and not use them. I'm down another "unofficial" pound today, so we'll see if that stays off utnil Monday, my WI day! I did do a lot of cleaning this morning, which I don't count as APs, so that will help, too! Have a great weekend everyone..

WHOA~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't even go a couple days without using at least one flex point. You're good. Cleaning is good, but I still hate it.

Congrats on the down poundage. When you get a clippie, I will throw a dance party in your journal. I swear to you, we will!
