Brandi's Journal to Get Back to Me

So ,was not so great on Sunday, either. We went to see Star Wars at 1:50 and was starving, of course. I got nachos and a coke. About 3 that afternoon, had cookies-n-cream ice cream. Dinner was a tuna fish sandwhich- was just feeling yuck by then! Allt hat fatty stuff gace me a headache. So, I took my medicine and went to bed at about 7:30! Slept great until DS kept waking up every hour- he developed pinkeye apparently, and he was crying saying his eye hurt "so bad." Poor baby. This morning I finally got him up at about 8 and then made a Dr appt for 10:30- I got most of the goop out of his eye and he's now lying on the couch watching Power Rangers. So, I am starving again! We have donuts, but I won't touch them!
I got Cheerios instead. I needed something more than an apple, so Cheerios it is.
Well, I have to plan my September Dining itinerary, so I gotta run. I'll be back!

Alrighty- tehn. It's been a month since I've last updated my journal. Let's see- I haven't been great, but not horrible, either. Biggest problem is that I haven't been journaling and that doesn't keep me on track like I should be. I haven't gained any, but don't think I've really lost, either. So, I have about 8 weeks until Disney and I want to be able to fit into the shorts I already have so I don't have to spend my Disney money on clothes!! That shouldn't be too hard, as I just need to get down about 1, almost 2 sizes. Maybe about 15 ponds- that's only 2 pounds a week. I think I can do this! So, I've been considering doing Slimfast instead- anyone have any luck with that? I want to really keep on the WW plan, but for a jump start I'd like something that works quickly for the first couple of weeks- that way, I can stay motivated! Let me run and do some work now- Have a great day ladies!
 
So, just in case anyone checsk in- and to keep me focused. I did pretty good yesterday. Had a lean cusine for lunch- plus a rice krispie treat!! Then spaghetti for dinner. I came in on target with points. I did not go walk with son, though. He got filthy at dinner and then needed a bath. When he got out, I was going to go by myself, but Dh was mowing, so I couldn't just leave the child. I will do better, promise. This morning, only a Coke so far. Probably will have leftover spaghetti for lunch. I wanted to write since I need to get busy. Have agreat day all!
 

just keep swimming :fish:...i recommend ditching the coke if you're asking...but since you aren't asking...i'll be quiet!! ;) lol...seriously though, i gave it up in may, and feel so much better, plus i don't have those calories to contend with anymore!! GREAT! :teeth:

thanks jen! I know I should ditch the coke, but I LOVE it!! I have one can each morning instead of coffee and it jsut gets me going. I do plan to cut back. Some days I only drink half a can!! I was bad bad bad tonight! I had the nachos supreme from Taco Bell- DH was sick and only wanted pizza- wierd man- we have the Taco Bell/Pizza Hut and i couldn't resist. I think I'll stop by the store tomorrow an get some slimfast for when I have these issues! Maybe that will help! I will do better!
 
Hi, Brandi! I'm just catching up from when I was gone to FL. I hope you are still working on staying OP and are doing well.

It sounds like you are still headed in the right direction from you last post.

Hang in there. You WILL make it to a new, improved, smaller you!
 
Thanks, Julie. I am doing much better now! Today, I decided that I will try Slim-Fast as my lunch or dinner option each day. I don't normally eat breakfast, but if I do, it'll also be Slim-fast. I decided to do this in conjunction with my WW because I'm having a hard time eating healthy on the run. I just don't have the time to put things together before hand, then I eat out a lot. So, on days that I eat out for lunch, I'll have SF for supper. And days I don't eat lunch out, I will have SF for lunch and dinner with the family. I think it'll also help my stomach shirnk since one of my biggest problems is portion control. I'm still startving after a meal with the "correct" size portion and then end up bingeing on anything in site. So, I will be trying this starting in the morning. Wish me luck, folks!!
 
Journal for Monday, 7/18/05:

I did great so far today!! I had about 2/3 a Slim-Fast for b-fast and one for lunch. It's almost supper time now and i am starving!!! I will be having baked chicken breast, white rice and corn on the cob for dinner. Still coming in short about 8 points with that, so I will be ok to have seconds!! I can do well when I work all day. The challenge will be tomorrow. I'll be out of town for a training class, so we will go out to eat. I will try to eat sensibly and have the Slim Fast for supper. I also plan to walk some tonight after we eat. I will update on that later.
