Brand new DVC Owner!!

Hi everybody! This is my first post so please be gentle...

I just took the leap and bought 250 points at SSR last night. My guide, Sue Saunders, was great and really took the time to answer all of my questions, and boy, did I have a lot of questions!

I got a Sept. Use Year so I got all of my 2006 points. First order of business after the FedEx package arrives and everything is signed is to call and try to get a GV in arly Nov. We stayed at OKW last year in a 2BR and that sealed the deal as we couldn't see going back to a regular Hotel room when we had the option of having the space and convenience afforded by the DVC resorts.

Just wanted to say Hi to everybody. I've been lurking the boards here for a while now soaking up as much info as possible. These boards are full of information and I'd like to thank everyone for their input.

One last thing...How do I get the picture of my Home Resort, SSR, to appear at the bottom of my posts

Sure was! We were ony going to get 200 points but at $86 a point we got the extra 50. My guide split the contract so it's 200 on the master contract with a 50 pt add-on. This way, if we don't need the extra 50 we can always try to sell it and keep the original 200 pts. Something tells me we'll find the time for the extra points
