Brainpicking for DS 1st Birthday

Hi all!

Just wanted to pick your brains re: ideas for creating Pooh/Tigger themed invites for my DS's 1st birthday in July. I am beginning to plan so I can get my budget together. We will do a outdoor barbeque at a forest preserve near our family's community( we w\live in the city of Chicago and everyone else lives in the burbs; we also live in a condo so not enough space to entertain on the scale we need to accomodate DH's big family). That is the easy part. I will probably do either a Tigger theme or Thomas & Friends theme, but leaning toward Tigger since his nursury is Pooh with a Tigger emphasis. Pirate Tigger would be even better! I am have been looking online for decorations etc but do not like the stock invites that I am finding. Any ideas? Danielle

How about something like this for the cover of the invite? If it's not what you had in mind, I'd be willing to help if you want something specific.
