I have this problem and wonder if others do. My brain thinks one word, yet my fingers type another word. Since they are actual words and not spelling errors, spellcheck doesn't help.

I can proofread and not find it. Yet I sometimes notice them after I hit submit, but not always.

For instance, I just fixed a post of mine were I wanted to use the word "decided" and my fingers typed "didn't".
WTH? :confused3

Screwy and very annoying!

I typed this post very slowly to hopefully not make any mistakes. Hopefully.

I believe Freud would have a theory about this. It would most likely involve sex of the hate of one's genitals. Those seemed to be favorite themes of his.

This happens to me all the time! I feel like I use the edit button more than the reply button :). For me it helps to read aloud. Of course with forum posts I typically don't take the time to throughly proofread aloud, but sure enough as soon as I submit the comment I see all the typos I made!

I can never type out a word that ends in "ll" without putting a space between the L's! Drives me crazy. Every single time.

I probably do that on occasion. But more often it is that my brain truly thinks one word but my mouth says another word :confused3.

I have that problem when I'm writing, but not typing. I think its because I can't write as fast as I think, but I can type as fast as I think. Did that make sence???

I was a secretary for 36 years. This happened to me all the time.

Another problem I have - I type so fast that I leave words out.
