Brain, Athlete, Basketcase, Princess, Criminal?

Hmmmm, it appears that the DIS is full of former basketcases!

That explains so much.... :rolleyes1 :rotfl2:

Sparx, you're a doll--and I do think you're cool! :)

Your quote made me laugh, as that's *exactly* what my dh said when he picked me up in his 1972 Plymouth Duster for our first date in 1987--"Kim, it's held together with some gum and a prayer." :teeth:
lol. thanks.

We have this really old fashioned organ that we got from my great great aunt, I believe. We drove a Uhaul up to her house (she lives a good way away, and we drive through mountains to get to it.) so when we got there we were loading up the organ and I was carrying the stool that went with it. My uncle said, "this old thing is held together with some bailing wire and a prayer." once we got home I got the stool out and I was carrying it upside down. YOU COULD SEE THE BAILING WIRE! :rotfl: I'm serious. It IS held together with bailing wire and a prayer.

depends on the year

freshman: "brain"*, 2/3 athlete, 1/4 basketcase
sophomore: 3/4 "brain"*, 2/3 athlete, 1/2 basketcase
junior: 1/2 "brain"*, total basketcase
senior: 1/4 "brain"*, total basketcase, 1/4 "criminal"

No princesses allowed.

I married a criminal basketcase with brain and athlete potential.

I own a criminal basketcase princess.

*I'm not, but was perceived to be.

I was a brain who was trying to be a princess. Which probably made me into a basketcase. I just finished the book "PREP" and it really struck a chord with me. I remember always worrying about clothes, makeup, who I was sitting next to, what I should say, etc.

YUK!!!

The biggest princess there. I loved high school.

My DH's first car was also a Plymouth Duster. Do I ever have memories of that car--we had it when we were first married and we drove from Oregon to Wisconsin, with the car barely making it. It broke down several times, we had to hitchhike to get to a town to buy parts, and we hardly had 2 dimes to rub together. :rotfl: So funny to think about!

To answer the question--I don't know what I would have been considered. I'm with PrincessKitty--Wildchild, but that wasn't on the list. Should have been! Maybe a basketcase brain, but that doesn't really describe the way I was. Wildchild would have to be it so I'm starting a petition to add it to the list.

But now I'm a boring suburban housewife--you'd never guess that I'm the same person I was when I was younger. Thank goodness!

I was in all the honors classes, which makes me a brain. . .but I was also one of the wierd theatre kids, which I suppose makes me a brainy basketcase!
