you guys are great (and speedy) with advice, so I know I can count on ya'll for an answer to this...

I've always thought brads were cute...ok, I've been scrapbooking for a month, but let's just get to the question, ok?

I put a few on one of my pages, but now I'm not sure what will happen when I close the book and the weight of all the other pages presses down on those brads. Are they going to leave little dents in pictures and cardstock that they are up against? I hate to think of all the work I did on a page being ruined by an embellishment!

HELP!

And Thanks in advance!!

I store my albums vertically and do not have a problem with the brads pressing on the adjoining pages.

 If you think it will be a problem, stagger where you place them so when the pages are closed they are not on top of each other. That is my only suggestion. :confused3

i also try to store them vertically as the other posters have said.

although on occasion if an album has been on my desk, or floor next to my bed, stuff tends to get put on the top of them...while i have noticed a slight indention (because i know it is there), it wasn't major, and to a non scrapper or scrapper, you can't notice it unless you are really looking.

karen

p.s. i have used lots of lumpier stuff (chopsticks...yes chopsticks...bottle caps, shrink plastic) without problem as well
