Braces!!!!

Ok so today i went to the hospital and had my braces fitted.

I was totally dreading this ordeal as i'd been told b many of my friends about the excrutiating pain that comes with having a brace fitted. All sorts of things we're going through my mind like the pain to come and wether needles would have to be used and how long it would take to be fitted. Anyway it took just under fifteen minutes to be fitted and this morning it didn't hurt at all. They are smaller than i thought and they are yellow .

Now, however, the pain is horrid. I have just had some ice cream to subside the pains though

Anyways, overall i don't think they are as bad as i though they we're going to be, although it hurts a lot.

So what i want to know is wether anyone of my fellow DISers have braces??? And what do you think of them?

i have braces, i hated them, and im getting them off in a week and a half!

I will post pics of me now though you probably won't be able to tell because it's just the one tooth that it's clearing up!! I'll need to take soom though!!

And then when they're off i shall post and let you know with pics of my fab teeth as they will be.

Before i got mine i was so excited, but now i hate them! But if you ever get elastics connecting the top and bottom WEAR THEM!! if you don't your wish you did!

I only have the brace on the top because it's only one tooth at the top that needs to be 'pulled' into place. My bottom teeth are said to be fine.

most of my friends have them or are getting them and they hate it.

it's this other thing, that holds my jaw in place, that hurts
it has a sharp end that cuts into my cheak

I have to many teeth so i am getting 2 taken out on friday!
On the first of October i am getting my train tracks/braces put on!
Can you take your brace off or are yours glued to your teeth my ones are going to be glued to my teeth!!
The aurthadontist said that my brace will get glued on bit by bit by bit!!
I don't know what to expect so can i have some advice please!!

i need to get braces.
i personally dont want them at all!!!
they just gross me out when things are all caught in um.
i will be brushing my teeth like 200 times a day.

My friend Zoe has been told umpteen times by her orthadontist that she does not need braces and yet she still insists on wanting them even after i told her how much pain they are causing me.

But i have to say they arn't that bad, Sophie. It is hard to eat for the the first few days, well as i've encountered but thewy get better eventually i think i've learned to put up with the pain now so i have got used to it.
