they suck :/

i got them from eye tooth to eye tooth on (pointy fang-y tooth to pointy fang-y tooth on the top)

So it really isnt as bad as most cases, but it still hurts D: .

I have to have them for 6 months .

Do you have braces?
What teeth?

I had them. My eye teeth were way above my other teeth (Like fangs! ) I had them on all teeth except back molars. Top and bottom for about two years.

They really aren't that bad, and just be glad you can get it over with while you're young!

This is the order my ortho put me in:

First i had 4 braces on my top teeth and 4 on my bottom.

Second i had a bottom and top retanier

Third i had a full set of braces top and bottom.

Now i have a top retaner and a cemented retainer on bottom for 1 year.

It all was through a 6 year process.

It was annoying but i'm really glad that i have them off

I have fangs too xP

But my braces are on all of my teeth. I had crooked teeth and a severe overbite. They've been on for a year and like two months, and they said I should have them off by next May at the LATEST.
But in the winter I need to get some of the gum attached to my lip removed.

My teeth are all straight now, it's just the overbite that needs fixing.

I got them this morning & the dentist & dentist assistant said it looks like ive already had braces .

My only problem is my stupid gap D:

I have a full set of braces(braces on every tooth) and i have an upper expander

(it;s kind of hard 2 see but u can see my expander)and i have 2 wear rubber bands that connect from my top braces to my bottom braces ALL the time (as in 24/7) .

I had braces on the top for about 6 months than i got the bottoms put on, for about 2 years. Now i have removable retainers...you'll get used to the braces

Where's your gap?

When I first got my braces on the top, they had to move them all around to get them in the right spot and all last summer because of the braces I had this huge embarrassing gap on my two front teeth. It was so big I could get a tic tac through it. I think by the time school started it was gone though.

I didn't enjoy imprints that much, but they were better for me than my friends. I picked the mint flavor. Everyone told me it felt like it was going down the back of their throat, but I didn't find.

The glue though when they put the braces on, did and I wanted to puke so badly.

My teeth never hurt the day of tightening and crap, it's always worse the next day.

I have them on all my teeth but my back molar on the left side because they can't get a band small enough for the tooth...

I've been going to the ortho for 8 years now!!!

During this time period I have had 19 teeth removed and now only had i think 26 of the 32 teeth i should have. Most of the 19 were baby teeth.

At first i had braces on all my top. then i came in a week later and they did the bottoms...on the sides in the back only...not the front four...Then about 3 months later i got a full mouth. I've had them on for a little under a year...next week will be a year. I'm supposed to have them on for one more and then a retainer at night for 3 years. And then wisdom teeth removed...

I'm supposed to do that...but i can't because for some reason when my rubber bands are in i get sever migraines like curl up in a ball and almost puke so that makes me have to take my migraine medicine more then i should so i just stopped wearing them...It was either that or an accidental overdose...

Ah I'd fer sure deffiently pick braces over broken jaw...

My teeth kept like growing back alot...like a sharks mouth...and they'd come in completly sideways... All my teeth were like /\\/\/\||//\\

Kinda sounds like a girl I know.
Her teeth are seriously all crooked and stuff.
She's probably going to have braces on forever.

My brothers exgirlfriend got her jaw broken last summer and they had her teeth sewn shut for a while and the medecine makes you throw up...
So yeah.
It'd be bad.

I have braces on all my teeth. have had them since august last year. I even went today. i have tie backs, and rubberbands connecting my top 6-5 to bottom 6 on both sides. They aren't that bad a little pain but nothing a tylenol can't handle.

One bit of advice... if you get rubberbands attacting the bottom and top always were those rubberbands because i never wore mine and the orthodonist said because i didn't i'm going to have to wear my braces approx. 6 months longer. Which isn't a day in the park.

So wear them!!

I have elastics (not the ones that attach bottom to top, the kind they put on the brackets so they don't like tear the inside of your mouth up I think) and then other top of that they put TWO chains (to close gaps) on the top. It killed me when they did that. And I have tons of ligatures.

I don't have attaching elastics. I don't know if I'll ever need them, they've never said anything about them to me, not yet anyways.
