My son is having a Star Wars birthday next Sunday and we found Star Wars Jibbitz for favors.

We want each boy to get 5 jibbitz and they are going to earn them as they go through their "Jedi Training" We would like to have braclets for them to wear them on.

The only bracelets we have found come with jibbitz on them and cost about $2 each or we can't get them shipped in time now without paying express shipping and I am trying to keep them cheap since it is an unplanned favor and I am already over budget.

So my budget friends: Do you have any ideas of where we might be able to just buy the bracelets without any charms on them? OR if I buy silicone bracelets can I hole punch them and put them in there?

Any ideas or suggestions would be great!

Thanks!

Wow!! I think that you've come up w/ the perfect solution on your own. ;)
I would get the silicone bracelets and punch out 5 holes on each bracelet yourself. Just make sure that the jibbitz will stay in the hole and not fall out. So you don't end up w/ disappointed boys that have lost some of their jibbitz along the way.
good luck and I hope the party goes well. :goodvibes

Thanks!! I will have to try out one of our bracelets and see if I can punch the hole in them. I am worried a hole punch won't work in it.

I spent my night making lightsabers out of pool noodles and next up on the agenda are t-shirts! My DH told me the other moms are going to hate me for having such a great party! I hope it all turns out -I am getting nervous about it.

Now of course, I will never be able to top the party - so next year we are just going to Disney instead

I just saw (off brand) Jibbitz bracelets today at my local Michaels craft store. They were at the end of an aisle - their (also off brand) Jibbitz were all being clearanced for .27 cents each and hanging above them I saw packs of bracelets.

I just took a quick look, so didn't notice the clearance price of the bracelets or how many were in each pack, but they did have the clearance price tags.

Good luck with your project!

(They were the plain - empty - bracelets with just holes - no Jibbitz in them.)

cool cool idea not sure a hole punch will work but there is a punch that is made to put holes in leather. Not sure what the name of the tool is. I know it has a wheel type thing on it that has several pokey things with different sizes. My Dad has one and we use it to add holes to belts.

Sorry for all the non technical words but .......

Thanks! I checked my Michael's and she said they were long gone but I have several around that I can call and check! Thanks!!

Thank you everyone for the suggestions!

I went to Michael's today and they were out of the bracelets BUT they had a kit to make your own rubber bracelets. It came with 20 bands and then letters to make sayings on the bands. There is a punch to make a hole to put the bracelets in! So I bought it for $7 and the punch makes holes big enough for the jibbitz!! I was so excited! Thanks for all your help!
