Dumb question here, we have been to the last 2 MVMCP and last years MNSSHP and we make sure we get our bracelets like we are supposed to. My question is how do they get all the non party people out of the park, how do they ensure that there are no "sneak ins"?

Not one CM, for rides, shops or restaurants, ever asked to see ours so it makes me wonder if people have gotten away with it.

When we were at MNSSHP last year, they wrangled all of the of the people in the park that were attending the party into a a couple of the "Lands". After the cleared the non-party guests out of the rest of the park they reopened the park to the party guests. When we wore our bracelets they were easily visible on our wrists so there was no reason that anyone would have asked to see them.

On EMH Nights we have been asked to show our bracelets when entering some attactions.

Have fun!!!

That would explain part of it, we are having dinner at CP (we get the bracelets at 4) and in Dec we have jackets on...too cold for my blood....been in Florida too long ha ha.

Cannot wait to go back to both parties!

I think that there will always bee some sneak throughs. Last December for MVMCP is was so cold that we all had on sweatshirts and jackets that there was no way that you could see our bracelets unles we were asked.

I have another question about the bracelets, what are they made of? I am allergic to latex and cannot touch any rubber or rubber containing products and am worried I will not be able to wear or even hold the bracelets.

The last time we were there for MNSSHP, they stopped issuing the bracelets as the crowds were so deep at the entrance at 7pm - CM's were given a message by radio as we were standing in line. Some of our party got one and the rest of us did not. :confused3

They are the paper bracelets like you get at carnivals and such. They have the little sticky end so they can be sized to fit.

I think they are Paper like MakinO stated but a very good friend has this same problem.
I pulled a wrist sweatband like the Basketball player wear they are a little longer then the regular ones.We then put a small saftey pin on so it wouldn't slip off and worked great for the entire weekend .

There was another thread addressing this very issue of non-party guest staying after the regular park closing .It was mentioned that a CM was telling people they really didn't have to leave just couldn't go on the rides or get the free hot choc and cookies.

Yes, this is exactly how evening EMH's work. Nobody needs to be "escorted out" because they are not allowed to RIDE anything without a proper wrist-band... so after a bit of extra shopping, the "non-invited" guests just wander out. Even if they choose to STAY, as long as they are not in front of other guests in the ride queues... who cares if they are in the park? :thumbsup2

That might work for EMH, but the parties would have to be a little different. One of the great things about MNSSHP is the parade and if they were to allow people to stay in the park because they can't ride the rides without the wrist band then people would still benefit from something I have to pay extra for. :furious: I for one would not be happy if I heard CM's telling people that didn't pay for the extra ticket that they could stay as long as they didn't ride the rides. :sad2:

Iagree with you goofyfordisney3. I just paid 200 cad for my tickets. My DH and DD's are not big riders so we just love the shows and DISNEY feel. I think you should have to show your wristband in order to stay...think you caught me on a rant and roll!! Can't wait for hot choc and cookies!

We have been to one holiday party or another for the last 3 years, and 2 out of 3 times at least one person in our party was asked to see the wristband. One guy just asked if we had one, and the other guy actually gestured that he wanted to see it. Granted, we did have on costumes covering the arms once and the other was as Christmas when it was 26 DEGREES and we looked like we were about to ascend Mt. Everest. Either way, I do think that some of the CMs do ask.
