Does anyone know if there are boy costumes sold at the park? I know there are a ton of princess dresses etc, but have not paid attention to whether they have anything for the boys. He has his Peter Pan costume he wants to wear and I was hoping to get him another just not sure it is possible.

...or for that matter, one that isn't Peter Pan? DS loves to dress up and pretend, but I have a hard time finding any Disney costumes that aren't Peter Pan.

My girls love Miles from Tomorrowland, and we saw a costume for him at the Disney store. I've also seen Jake.
I have seen Miles at the Disney store close to home but they did not have his size. I was hoping to find something while we are at the parks or Downtown Disney do they have them there?

I think I have seen buzz, and woody at the park maybe, definately at the Disney store and kids in the park with them on. I have also seen a few others at the Disney story like dark fader, and some of the super heroes, and jake the pirate. Oh I know for sure that in WDW there was a boy pirate costume, but they also have to pirate makeover, which I have not seen Or heard of at Disneyland. They have a girl pirate dress at both parks, my niece has one.

I know I have seen Jack Sparrow costumes, we bought one for DS a few trips ago for Halloween.

There are tons on Amazon or Disney Store online, cheaper than in the parks too. I have seen costumes at the park, but that was in the fall closer to Halloween. It seems that most of the costumes available year round are princesses. I've seen a lot of kids dressed up in various costumes. My daughter has worn her Jessie costume several times, bought from Amazon. My son wore his Tigger costume briefly when we visited in September, but it was too hot.

I think they have a pirate one. And I know we bought a Cars racecar suit there one year. Otherwise, we've taken Jake and Peter Pan from home.

*think* I've seen Woody, but that's about it. Bringing my oldests Peter Pan from home.

My 4 year old grandson had the Knight Package at BBB when his sister got a new dress and the princess make-over. They do not have Knight or Prince costumes for boys but we got one from an on-line costume store and it was cute as could be.

My 4-year-old loves the Marvel characters. It's not yet super easy to find Marvel stuff in the parks, but we went to Target before one of our recent trips and they had nice, lightweight superhero shirts and matching shorts. We didn't buy the shorts, but the shirt alone works for my son. He still feels like he's dressing up just like his sister with her princess dress.

I have looked at the Disney store close to home they seem to cater to the "littler" sizes and they won't fit. I did not think to order online prior and now it is to late(we leave on Saturday morning). I was hoping they had some in the parks.

That I recall from this past February, there had been clothing and accessories to dress like a pirate at Disneyland. Conveniently located the shops be, around the corner from the pirates adventure (Exit)

Argggh. ...... :faint: ;) lol

I will look at the pirate store he loves that kind of stuff. I wish I were creative enough to come up with cute Disneybounding outfits for him. I love that stuff but when I try to come up with stuff it seems to not come out like I want it. I got him a ton of Disney t-shirts and he is thrilled with that.

Depending on how much time you have until your next trip, you could put in a request on the Disneybound site. Leslie is really good about trying to help people put outfits together. If you specify that you need easy outfits (specify characters if you can) for a young boy, she might enjoy the challenge of creating a few outfits. And there might already be some photos for kids outfits in the site archives.

DS6 has been dressing in costume for our DLR visits for the last 3 years. Some of our costumes have come from the Disney Store (online), and others have come from Target. He has dressed as Mr. Potatohead (his favorite, as it comes with velcro face parts that he can put on and take off and it just slips over his head like a big foam tunic--found it online at Target for about $15 a few years ago), Buzz Lightyear, Lightning McQueen, Tow Mater, Woody, a Jedi, Peter Pan, and Olaf. I've also seen Darth Vader and Stormtrooper costumes online at Disney Store.

Disneystore has Thor, Captain America, Spiderman, Hulk, Iron Man, Stormtrooper, Darth Vader, and Miles from Tomorrowland. We also have some Star Lord ones left over.
