Boys Character Meal?

I remember reading that Disney was going to try a boys themed character meal, and for some reason, I thought it kicked off on Mother's Day.

Did anyone go to this? Is it still an option? What characters were involved? Is there ANYWHERE that has Buzz and Woody (they're the fave right now)?

We're going in Sept for DS 3rd BD, and I'd like to take him somewhere special.

Thanks,
Mrs. PB

Hi! It wasn't a new character meal, it was a character meal special for Mother's Day. They had a lot of different characters there; some people thought it would a good chance for boys to attend a character meal since their would be male characters there. Hope this helps! :wizard:

I agree Mr. Pooh!! I'm struggling to find a character meal for my 2 and 5 year old boys that isn't too "girly" (my 5 year old has decided girls are gross). Which does everyone think is the best for boys???

Liberty Tree Tavern would probably be really nice for your boys. It is set up like Thanksgiving, so there is a lot of Pioneer themeing. When I was there in May, I saw Goofy, Chip, Dale, Pluto, and Minnie. So your 5 year old would only have to put up with one girl! ;) Chef Mickey's at the Contempary is nice too. It is buffet, and they have Mickey, Donald (at dinner), Chip, Dale, and Minnie. Hope you enjoy which ever one you choose! :sunny:

You could always go to CP. :flower: Pooh isn't to girly, is he?

The best Character meal for boys would be Crystal Palace in MK with Pooh, Tigger, Eyeore and Piglet, or Donald's Breakfastsaurus in AK. That one has all the major characters....Donald, Daisy, Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Goofy, Chip and Dale.

That is about it.......I would love to see them add Toy Story Characters, The Incredibles, Power Rangers and 7 Dwarfs. My boys would LOVE that!

Mommy of three little boys- love the Breakfastsaurus at AK. My boys love the characters, they seem to spend a bit more time with you (comparing to CP-Pooh) and the added bonus of AK early in the morning. We have ridden Triceratops 3-4 times before having to get off (May and Oct vacations). Always a hit. In the midst of planning our first Thanksgiving trip at Disney.

We found that LTT was probably the best character meal for my 5 yo son. He pretty much hated the princess meals that were a priority for our daughter. We all enjoyed CP as well.

My son is 2 1/2 and we have been to both Chef Mickey's and Ohana and he loves both. One is a buffet and the other is table service but they have the main Disney characters and are quite fun for all!

My 2 ds 4 and 10 at the time loved cp and mickey's bbq!!!my dd also thought they were great
