Boys & akershus ????

I have tried to Make Ressie for Castle say's all booked -- 4 & 6 yr. old love it & the Sword's ----- Is Akershus too " Girlie " Do they give anything ---- Sword's for boys Or should we just pass this one up ???? Already Did the German thing-- Doing Hoop-Dee-Doo .. Your thought's will help ...

I would not do Norway without girls unless your boys love the Princesses. They do not recieve anything--just photos. If you are looking for a really good character dinner at Epcot try the Garden Grill at the Land Pavillion. The food is really good and the characters are Mickey, Pluto, Goofy, and Chip and Dale.

My 2 y.o. DS loved Akershus. Of course, he has two older sisters, and Ariel did smooch him on the forehead. He didn't want to wash off the lipstick!

My daughter got sick on our last trip, so my 2 year old son and I went by ourselves to the breakfast we had booked at Akershus. He LOVED the attention! He flirted with the princesses and was covered in lipstick kisses by the end. It did help that he was very familiar with all of them because of his older sister.

They don't give anything to any of the kids, but boys I know seem to love it. They are showered with attention from the princesses. I would still go.

We went last year and DS 3 did not want anything to do with the princesses - no matter how much the flirted with him. He did enjoy the little parade they do but he went and grabbed a "boy" cm to march with him.

My DS was the perfect age when we went, he was 4 1/2 years old. It was truly magical. It was only us (me and DH) along with our son. He got so much attention. I believe he got more attention than the girls in the room.

Thoughts - my DS has seen all the princess movies multiple times so knew who was who. That helped.

Fast forward one year. On our last visit in May, my DS5.5 wanted NOTHING to do with princesses. He didn't want kisses or hugs. We bypassed all of them. He and my DH promised that they would get their picture taken with Jasmine (of course, she is the hottest princess).

We did it when my boys were 8 and 6 and then again when they were 10 and 8 they enjoyed it both times. We are not going to do it this time we are going to the Castle..............they do have a little sister but they still enjoyed it. Jasmine was just in awww of my oldest son SMILE she wanted her picture just with HIM after she got one with the others

I'm a big boy and I love the attention at Akershus... then again I'm 27.

My girlfriend on the other hand is not so much a fan (I think she gets jealous ).
