We, as the Boy Scout Troop's committee, plan a party for the boys jsut before Thanksgiving. This is one activity that that the boys do not have to plan, set up, clean up, nothing. WE do it for THEM.
Last year a big hit was a kit we put together for them. Each kit held rubber bands, a mouse trap, a paint stir stick, etc, and 5 jelly beans. They had to build a jelly bean laucher. We made enough kits so the boys paired off, or threes, and used imagination and ingenuity. Huge huge hit.
We have thought of the egg drop kind of thing. Has this been done to death? We are working with 6th through 12th graders, not little boys.
Anyone have any other ideas or thoughts?
