Who else thinks this was the best show ever?!?! Maybe I am biased because I grew up watching this how, but I have season 1-3 on DVD and even at 23 years old, I still think it is genius. So cute! It has so many little things that I didn't get when I was little but they make me laugh now. I miss this show so much. :happytv:

I always wanted to find a boy like Cory to love me like he loved Topanga. How cute. They just don't make show like they used to---- my parents say I am officially old because I have said that statement. :confused3

I totally agree. DS and I JUST turned it on and you cannot help but laugh!
It is great!!!

I'm 34 and I love it!!!! Eric is the only person on T.V. who can literelly make me laugh out loud!

My 14 year old always says he wishes he could find a girl like Topanga!

My son and I love to quote Eric!

"My new name is Runs With Squirrels!"

The Mr. Feeney comes up and says,

"Mr. Matthews."

Eric says,

"Mr. Squirrels!."

Mr. Feeney says,

"Eric?"

Eric says,

"Runs With!"

I love it!

34 and also love the show.
My 8yo is starting to watch it with me...

Hahaha!!! It ALWAYS makes me laugh when I see this episode:

Eric: "So, I said to myself, 'Kyle'...."
Mr. Matthews: "Kyle?!?!?!"
Eric: "Yeah, that's what I call myself"
:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

LOL

This was the greatest show. I had the biggest crush on Eric. (What is his real name? Will something?)

I wish they had a show like this today! So many shows from my younger days just had more "heart" than a lot of shows today.

I was just talking about BMW today- the episode where Eric has a musical girlfriend and when he breaks up with her, her sunny personality turns into Alanis Morrisette type. Morgan sings her song at the end " Cause he's a loser freak, a loser freak, a maladjusted woman hatin' loser freak, and he doesn't like girls cause he's afraid of them, afraid of them. I think he likes boys if you know what I'm sayin'." and Eric says "This chick's toast." :lmao:

Yes. I love the show (even at 33).
I used to watch it all the time on the Disney Channel (when I had cable).

Although I won't go as far as saying it was the best show ever. ;)

I always wished I had a teacher like Feeny, a boyfriend like Cory, and I wanted to be just like Topanga. I catch this show EVERY time it's on. I can't get enough!!

The other one that makes me laugh at loud is when Corey and Topanga are graduating and Eric bursts out of the group and starts singing to Mr. Feeny.

Oh and when he sings,

Good Looking Guy!

"When theres a crime out there hes gonna brush his hair cause hes the Good Looking Guy!"

Oh his name is Will Friedle

My 14 year old son always says when his sister gets here hes going to call her "Weasle" like Eric calls Morgan.

I'm 19 so I also grew up watching it. While I'm not sure it's the best show in the world, it's pretty great, and I'm very guilty of watching most of the reruns on ABC Family

im 21 and have pretty much grown up watching this show too--I will always watch the reruns, even though i have seen them and know all of the story lines!

I love this show, also, and still watch the reruns on ABC Family. Unlike shows today, this is one that I can actually sit and watch with my kids, and not worry about what they might see or hear.

I was having a conversation with my sister a couple days ago. There is a huge difference between the shows that were on when I was younger (not long ago) and what's on now. When I was little TGI Friday on ABC was what we waited all week for, and all of us in the family could watch it. It was Boy Meets World, Family Matters, Full House, and I think Home Improvement. Those were family shows. Now it seems like if you want a family show at night you have to have cable, and watch either the Disney Channel, or Nick. Guess I'm getting old too (scary thought at 19), but I totally agree, that shows are not what they used to be. In my book, Boy Meets World is a classic. So are the other shows that made up Friday night television 8 or 10 years ago.

i never got into family matters or home improvement, but i do agree that shows are not what they used to be!!

I know all the Story Lines too, as a matter of fact DH and I were in Wal-Mart the other night and they had that painting that Topanga went to see when she kissed the other guy. The one that they had that deep talk about and then she brought Corey and he said something like Aliens attacking...........

Anyway I grabbed DH by the arm and looked at it and said,

"WHAT DO YOU SEE?" He looked at me like "WHAT?"

I had to explain....LOL! If DS (14) had been there he would have known instantly!
