Okay, very random, but I was just looking at my siggy pic of DH and I w/ Mickey and noticing how SHORT he is (comparing shoulders). For perspective, I am only 5'2". Is this to make it easier on kids? I mean, I know he's a mouse and everything, but . . .

Does anyone know what the maximum height of Mickey can be? Just curious.

Back to work!

I read somewhere you could audition for it if you were between 4'8"-5'0" tall.

This sounds about right. I've known only two people who have played mickey in the parks, and you have to be a certain hight. They have hight req.'s for all the characters.

Depends on how you look at it. In this case a mouse is only a few inches shorter than a dog and actually taller than a duck.

Thanks to the fellow Georgian for answering the question! :thumbsup2

You are welcome. :flower:

There are height ranges for all the characters in the parks. The maximum height for Mickey (and Minnie, too) is 5'0" (BTW, I am 5'2", too).

I could audition for Mickey or Minnie!! And, well, I've always wanted to move to Florida in my old age, (which isn't that many years from now), and work at Disney. I wonder if there are age requirements? :)

I think there's just a minimum age of 16? (Or is it 18? One or the other) I don't believe that there's a maximum age- I know a LOT of adults in the entertainment department.

Hey girl!

Just wanted to say cute pics! What an adorable family you have! :goodvibes:

I really should look into this. I taught elementary school for 15 years, substituted for a few more, and I've raised three kids of my own, (well, one is still in her teens), so I'm used to being around young ones. My husband can take his job anywhere. I love Disney, and I love Florida.

What am I waiting for! :goodvibes

I'm 5'2" but as I am getting older I am getting shorter. Mimmie could be in my future in a couple of years. :goodvibes

I am 5 ft 9 inches, guess Mickey or Minnie isn't in my future. :rotfl:

Wonder who I could be at that height, but on the large side? :confused3 :rotfl2:

There are quite a few in that height, actually. PM me and I can let you know.

When DS worked at DL, his biggest shock was when Mickey turned out to be a middle-aged little lady (Mom, she's almost as old as you!).
