I just read an article in Reader's Digest about fake drugs. It is a completley serious, life threatening issue. These people have practically reproduced the packaging of many popular drugs perfectly that it even slips past the pharmacist. It becomes life threatening when for example a diabetic gets fake insulin. Or even when the drug becomes inactive because it has been stored for weeks in a 100 degree warehouse. Basically the article said pharmaceuticals is such a huge industry, that it is very difficult to police, so consumers need take on more responsibility.
