My twin DD's turn 4 today and I can't believe it. It seems like yesterday I was in the hospital delivering them. :( I have found that once you have children the years turn into light years. They are my babies and we aren't planning on having any more. They are good girls and they give DH and me many laughs (and sometimes headaches LOL  ) Oh well, they are so excited even though we had their birthday party last Saturday. DH and I saved back our gifts so they would have something to open today. They also want rice krispie treats instead of cake tonight, since they just had cake on Saturday, and I promised them we would finally put up the Christmas tree today to make the day more special.

Does anyone else feel Happy and Sad on their children's birthdays?

And once they start school the years really fly by.
My oldest will be 20 in Feb. and I keep saying that just isn't possible! I also have a 9 and 16 yr old.
I told my oldest, do you know you're fixing to be 20, she said yes mom so stop grounding me, LOL, like she really gets grounded!
