BOY! Do resort choices keep changing with Free Dining

I have been going online/calling since the 12th & to date all I have been able to book (in terms of a Value Resort) was ASMu standard for 9/12-9/16.

ALL of a sudden this morning, my morning routine since the 12th, I went online, punched in my dates, All Stars MOVIES (standard & preferred) just showed up out of thin air.


My first choice was/is POP, so I am not going to change to ASMo.

Just thought I would let all you ASMo fans know the latest & the greatest.

I guess Disney is going to make us work hard for our free dining, so far it has not been easy!!!

I saw that. My DIL just changed her 3 room reservation from A/S Music to Movies-preferred. She wanted Pop, but Movies is good too.

You know the more I am sitting here thinking about it, the more I am think, I should change too. I really wanted POP perferred, but I guess ASMo preferred is better tham ASMu standard. the only thing that is holding me back is the new room reno. at ASMu.

on monday, the only value we were able to get ASMo during the two weeks we wanted (an option of either week) and only preferred. Although I wanted ASMo (stayed at Pop last two times and didn't like AsMU and ASsp has no appeal to us), I kept calling and today was able to get ASMo standard, which is what I preferred as I wanted to save the $110 which will go towards the Cinderella's RT breakfast!

I have noticed that, too. Although I am personally happy to get ASMu- my DH had his heart set on going back to Pop. So, for his benefit, I have been checking every day since I booked the trip for 9/7 to 9/16. First, it was ASSp, ASMu and POR. Then ASSp only. Then ASSp and ASMo preferred. Now we have ASSp, ASMu again, and POR. I guess ASMu opened back up when everyone switched to Movies. I think I'm just going to stick with what I've got.

We switched over to ASMo preferred this morning (both standard and preferred were available)- my only hesitation was due to the refurb of rooms as ASMu- woulda been nice to have a refurbed room, but I'd rather be at ASMo.

This is exactly what I am struggling with!!! I have never been to either resort. I have only been to POP & loved it!! My issue is this..

Stay at ASMU in a newly renovated room but not as much fun as movies, or switch to movies, not a new room, but funner resort for the kiddies.

Now that I just wrote that I realized how lucky I am to even be faced with a decision like this!!

I guess what I am really secretly wisihing for is for the POP to open uo during my dates, 9/12-9/16!!!

Yeah, I went back and forth, but decided on ASMo. I figure I can handle a non-refurb room. The only real differences for us are the separating curtain and the TV size. We don't really watch TV while we're there, and we're driving so I'll just bring a cheap-o divider curtain (currently deciding on removable hooks or spring rod).

I mean, I know the rooms'll look older, but we just liked the theming of ASMo so much better, and DFiance is excited about possibly staying in a Fantasia room (Sorcerer Mickey is his hero.).

Well Mariposa, I decided to join the club, I too switched from a standard ASMu to a preferred ASMo!!!

When my DD came home from school, I asked her opinion & she immediately screamed MOVIES!!!

So I immediately called CRO & switched!!

Both of us REALLY want POP, I am going to keep trying, but for now it is Movies!!

I switched from CSR to preferred Movies yesterday. I'm hoping to be in Fantasia with a pool view...

MY HUSBAND JUST DROVE OFF WITH MY POP CENTURY MUG ON THE ROOF OF HIS CAR!!! I had to run take my night gown off, put on clothes and rescue it. We live on a pretty busy street. He BETTER be glad it didn't get crushed. Boy is he in trouble when he gets home!!!! He knows he's not allowed to use my cup!!!
