Boy, did I find some great bargains at Old Navy yesterday!!

Yesterday, we needed to go to Home Depot for some plumbing supplies (my least favorite store!! ) In the same shopping mall was an Old Navy with signs in the window for "Final Fall Clearance". I "volunteered" to take the kids over to the store to see what they had (actually to do anything NOT to go into Home Depot!) Not only did a find a hoodie for my son at 50% off (I paid $12.99 for the performance fleece), but I found an Old Navy purse for my oldest dd for .97, backpacks for both girls, again .97, and 2 2" zipper binders for .97!!! Didn't need the binders right now, but I couldn't pass up a deal!!

Oh boy, with deals that good I don't even need to find an excuse to go to the mall.... I think I will try ours here in Concord NH tomorrow and see if I can find any similar deals. My DD is going into her second and a half year with her current backpack and the zipper is starting to go.... love to have a spare on hand for when the zipper dies completely. Also love to have a few new backpacks for our trip to see Mickey in January. Much easier to schlep around in the airport than regular carry-on luggage!.. Thanks for the heads up!

Old Navy does have really good deals once they start their seasonal clearances. Last fall, our Old Navy had mens jeans, shorts and select tshirts for $1.50... my DH "stocked up" and spend about $45.

He walked out of there with 4 large bags (more than 25 items!) even the sales clerk couldn't believe he got as much stuff as he did!

After my trip last Thursday (Kokomo, IN) my hubbie is well dressed! I sent part home with my mom as Christmas gifts, and hid the rest for Birthday gifts. I am very, very sneeky...(inspired by the "may I change your socks" butler on Mr. Deeds.)
