you would hate to travel with us, we have never shipped a box down and a couple of times we have done a trip doing carry-ons only! We have a rule now that the kids are older, if you want to bring it, you have to carry it!

I guess it's all about having the best trip for you. Some people like having a plan and others like to wing it...some people like to have the comforts of home and others like traveling light. Neither is wrong or better, just what makes it magical for you!

Maybe we need tips pages broke into personality types!

Either way, it's nice when one can post and not get criticized (not that it affects my packing choices), so thanks, All.

Actually I wish I had a roll of duct tape last trip. One of suitcases was broken on the flight down. Thankfully Guest Services at Pop had some available for us to use. The gift shop did not have any for sale. And we only really discovered how badly the suitcase was broken on the last night when I was packing everything for our departure. It was either find some duct tape or purchase a suitcase in the gift shop for mucho bucks!!!

I will always have a small roll of duct tape with us when we travel now!

just a sidenote on the box thing...I sent a box out Monday a.m. flat rate priority from Maine, and it arrived at Orlando this a.m. at 4. So, crazy quick shipping.
We too pack whatever we can shove in our carryons I don't check baggage. I like to travel as light as possible. My aunt, now, on the other hand...brings everything but the kitchen sink.
