I am a seasoned cruiser and have sent 5 boxes to Port Canaveral, and 3 to Port of Miami. I know the drill (no need to post sticky from website - I got it - thanks!) I've always adhered to a 12 x 12 x 12 box, and kept the weight under 20 lbs to be safe (that is what I consider a "Records Box").
I have an item that is a bit longer. Has anyone used a 12 x 16 box? The weight would be under 20, but I never tested a different size. Am I too literal?
