Box Delivery

We're 23 days out and haven't received anything. When does the box usually arrive?

They said sending them out this year is a wee delayed. We got ours about two weeks before our trip this year.

We are also just over 3 weeks out and no box yet. I called yesterday, and they said the boxes for our trip (Alaska) shipped yesterday, so should be here within a few days.

Got my box for Spain yesterday (7-6) for my trip that starts 7-23. 17 days early.

I still have 39 days to go, but I am sooo excited I can hardly stand it. I got a generic "tips, what to pack, gratuities, etc" email last week and about jumped through the roof. I don't know what I will do when my box arrives. If you couldn't tell, this is our first ABD.

Anyone getting the canvas drawstring backpack (not the big backpack or the drawstring bag for dirty clothes)? One family on our ABD had one, and I'm curious what determines whether you get that or not. It would have been much more useful to us than the iPad and/or document holder.

We got ours last night (32 days out). I was so excited but had to wait for my partner to get home so we could open together. Nice stuff, but most of it we won't use.

Don't you get trip related info...detailed itinerary, etc.?

There is a spiral bound booklet with information. I would hesitate to say "detailed" per se. But a little more than the document online gives. But there are also gifts. My understanding is the gifts vary by some algorithm. Maybe date, trip, people in your party. We received the book bag, a tablet case/purse, and a couple of luggage straps. Outside of the luggage straps, we will not use the other items. They were very nice though, we just have no need for them.

The booklet has luggage tags and tip envelope. Very valuable. Never go on your ABD without the booklet. It has the emergency number plus hotel numbers and addresses.

My understanding from other threads is this particular bag goes to families with teens and the ipad case goes to families with kids. I don't get Disney logic. Will be interesting to see what we get cause we have neither. We're on an adult exclusive trip in September.

Our kids are 8 and 11. We got 2 very nice backpacks, 2 zipper iPad holders, 2 document holders (that are large enough to also hold an iPad), and of course the luggage tags. We were delighted by all of it. Our boys are NOT into Disney stuff - which they view as all about princesses - but the logos on the backpacks are subtle enough for them and they are excited to use them as their carry on bags.

I forgot that we did get the very nice drawstring bag that we will use as a laundry bad. We are adult exclusive in August.
