I figured I'd do my part to get us to page 250 before Saturday! I spent about an hour this morning torturing my three little ones by making them try on clothes. My twins are peanuts - I'm bringing a couple of pair of shorts for Drew that are size 24 months... and he's 3.5! My oldest DD, on the other hand, is crazy tall (90th percentile for her age) and stuff we bought for the start of school is too short for her.
I am having the same struggle with packing for this trip as I did for our January WDW trip. DH and I are easy, but I hate figuring out what to put the kids in for 'in between' weather. For our Jan trip, where it was mostly high 60s/low 70s, I did lots of summer stuff with sweatshirts. I am planning the same for this trip, but I will likely second guess myself all week. I have lots of capris for DD3, dresses and sweaters for DD5 (all she'll wear), DS is stuck with either jeans or shorts bc they don't make capris for boys. (Why? That would make my life so much easier! LOL)
At this point, the kids are very close to done except for undies and socks. I hate to iron, so I 'volunteered' my retired dad to do that for us this week and so we're handing off two suitcases of stuff to him today. I'm about 50% there... still missing formal stuff, running stuff, and jeans. DH is 0% done... and I'll likely bug him about it until Wed and then break down and do it myself.
Our goal is to get our stuff into 4 suitcases are our fifth 'bag' is a speciality box designed to hold a case of wine that we use when we go on wine buying trips. (My MIL commented that that was a lot of wine - my response to DH was that, with 14 days, I still reserved the right to have a bar bill!!!)
In flood news, we are STILL getting water in our basement, but slower. Maybe today will be the magic 'no more water' day. It has made doing laundry for the trip a challenge: our washer area is flooded, so I can't use a laundry basket AND when I get stuff out of the drier, not a single item can fall. It's way harder than you'd think!
Ok, enough procrastinating. I'm off to run a quick 10 miles and then to dive into "cruise preparation panic" mode!

I think it is one of the best and would not know what to do without it!
facade are even getting excited.

A quick 10 miles???Quick???? When I was in better shape in October I ran a 10k and it took me an hour and a half and I was dying afterwards. You are probably like on of those crazy people that did it in just over a half hour!
